Hi there - I'm Carli. An artist by nature, and someone who loves to tell a story through beautiful imagery. My style is mainly photojournalistic with an artistic eye. I love to capture moments that feel real and artistically beautiful. I want my photos to invoke the intimacy of a moment in time, or create a piece of art in its own right. But don't worry, I also love to capture fun! Every couple is different, and so is your story, so my approach to your wedding will be bespoke to you.

I have been second shooting with my sister and her own photography business for over 5 years (she can be found at Authentically LRL). On top of that, we were raised by a photographer, and a graphic designer. Raised on oil paints and film cameras, I always look at life through an artists eye. Needless to say, creative vision runs staunchly through me. I love to experiment with my individualistic style, just as much as I love to capture classically beautiful images and portraits. Lets make some memories together!

Are you on a budget? Do you have a creative flare? I completely understand how expensive weddings can be. If you are down to experiment a bit with posing, editing, and even photography type (integrating film/ 90s style digital) - Book me for 5 - 8 hours, including travel (within 1 hr radius for base price)! Includes next day sneak peak for socials, and a 100 photo album to include the ceremony, details, family photos, candids, and reception. If adding film, development costs covered by couple.

Film Photography (35mm)

Peak pricing $15-250

Description

Are you into experimenting with 35mm film as a part of your photography package? Me too! I would love to integrate film as a part of the photos I take on your day. Film is a classic and retro vibe, timeless. To add film photography I ask for an additional $15 an hour to my normal photogrpahy fee, as well as a $175 flat fee on top of your total to develop and digitize the film roles.

    I did a personal photo shoot with Carli and she was excellent to work with. I didn’t really know what I wanted beyond tidbits of an idea and she helped bring my vision to life. She was kind, professional, and easy to work with! 10/10 recommend

    Carli is AMAZING

    Carli makes the entire experience comfortable. We met up in downtown Newburyport for pictures on a sunny afternoon, and she created such a fun experience! We tried out different poses, styles, and backdrops so when everything was said and done, I had quite a range of photos to choose from. She is also quick and efficient in turnaround and very communicative throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend Carli for any photographic needs!

    Prepared and it shows

    Carli met with me before the shoot to take some practice pics so that she would already be prepared with lighting. She was professional, prepared and punctual the day of. The photos came out great.

Typically, couples book me about 6-10 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I know things change last minute, so I am always happy to be flexible where I can!
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. However this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
If required, I can build in a one day insurance package into my fee.
Yes! All final images will be edited using my style. I will prioritize any sort of vibes we agreed on for the wedding, and will ensure I include some stunning B&W photos as well. Light retoughing, like blemish removal, is included.
My turnaround time varies by season. However in general you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a sneak peak so you can share the photos with your loved ones.
No, at the moment I am focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible! However - I can help connect you with some wonderful video freelancers, and content creators if video isn't in your budget!
If your photography package includes a second shooter, then certainly! However my main photography package includes me as a solo photographer. In this way, I am able to have a more intimate presence at your wedding.
In my 10+ years of experience as an event planner, then as a floral freelancer and photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my incredible photography colleagues. However in the event that I am physically unable to be there, I will refund you in full.
