Best Decision Ever!

Selecting Knots in the Pines as our photographer was hands down the BEST decision we made for our big day. I knew immediately meeting Victoria that she was the right match for us because she has such a genuine warmth and kindness about her that makes you feel seen and supported throughout the entire planning process and the day itself. She made sure she really understood who my husband and I are individually and as a couple so she and Joe could bring our vision to life. Having Victoria in our corner made me feel so much more confident planning a Hawaiian elopement from way out of state as someone with no exposure to Hawaii beforehand. She made sure my husband and I were informed on everything we needed to know to make sure the ceremony went off seamlessly and was our #1 supporter who thought of every last detail and helped guide us in the right direction! The process of taking photos with her was completely stress-free because she and Joe felt like old friends by the time of the ceremony. Joe officiated a very tasteful ceremony for us and sang and played music for our first dance. We appreciated the special touches involved in his style and were happy to have a ceremony that both had structure but felt intimate and relaxed. The photos themselves turned out STUNNING and far surpassed any expectations I had. We were overwhelmed by the number of fantastic, frame-worthy shots Victoria captured. To give you an idea, I created a “favorites” album and it literally included 400 photos, which is an insanely good value for their extremely reasonable prices. Our wedding included a variety of locations and Victoria nailed the photography and editing involved with each one. We are classic “awkward photo” people who have no idea how to pose, but with her guidance and vision, we kept hearing that our photos look like something straight out of a magazine and that AI couldn’t create a more beautiful image that Victoria did (in a natural setting with two normal people and a LOT of talent!) Our photos speak for themselves, but I can promise you that booking with them will be a decision you’ll be eternally grateful you made! *Note that some of these photos are screenshots because the resolution of the images was too high for Zola. They’re all crystal clear and high resolution.

I seriously cannot say enough good things about our wedding photographers Victoria and Joe!! 😭🤍 Our wedding was in Washington State, and they captured the entire experience more perfectly than I ever could have imagined. We took photos at Ruby Beach, in the Hoh Rain Forest, at our cabin, and they even photographed our casual game night with our family. Every single part of our trip feels like it was captured exactly how it felt in the moment, and that means SO much to me. The pictures are absolutely TO DIE FOR. 😭 I have gone through our gallery so many times and still cannot believe some of these photos are actually us!! They made us feel so comfortable and natural the entire time, and you can genuinely see that in the pictures. Nothing felt awkward or overly posed, and they captured so many little moments and emotions that I didn’t even realize were happening at the time. This was my first time ever having professional photos done, and I genuinely don’t know how anyone will ever top this experience. They completely exceeded every expectation I had and gave us photos that we will get to look back on for the rest of our lives. I am beyond thankful that we chose them to capture such an important time for our family. If you are considering booking them, DO IT. You will not regret it. I would recommend them a million times over!! 🤍😭 They truly made our wedding memories even more special, and I will forever be grateful for them!

Victoria was amazing and I recommend 10/10! I was planning on proposing to my partner (now fiancée ) in June and worked with Victoria on my photoshoot plans since February. She was super helpful in recommending me location spots and coordinating. When the day came, she easily put us at ease and guided us through the beautiful scenery while taking phenomenal photos and describing the various plants/animals we encountered on the photoshoot. We love you so much and thank you again!!!

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Victoria and Joe for our intimate wedding on Kauai, and we could not have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, they were kind, thoughtful, and such a joy to be around. It felt like we were spending the day with friends who genuinely cared about making our wedding special. They captured our day in the most magical way. From our sunrise ceremony on the beach, to brunch overlooking the ocean, to an unforgettable adventure hike that lasted until the stars came out - every moment was documented so beautifully and authentically. Victoria has an incredible vision and a natural ability to guide the day in a way that feels effortless while enhancing every moment. Joe brought amazing videography talent, and he performed beautiful renditions of songs we requested, which made everything feel even more meaningful. When we received our photos and videos, we were absolutely blown away. They captured everything we hoped for and more -the emotion, the expansive scenery, and all the little moments in between. We are so grateful for the memories Victoria and Joe gave us. These are moments we will cherish for a lifetime. Thank you both for everything!
