Hey, my name is Hope Karnes! I’ve been taking photos professionally for going on 5 years now, and it has been the greatest journey getting to grow, learn, create, and make art with some of the greatest clients a gal could ask for. When I’m not behind the camera, you can probably find me with my family, getting a Diet Coke with my fiancé, planning our wedding, or wishing I was on the beach. I’ve lived in Virginia my whole life, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best places to be. I love the (mostly) beautiful weather, the endless places and spaces to explore. I’m so thankful for every person who trusts me to document their life, their love, and their memories. It is truly an honor!

    the sweetest & best photographer !!!

    We had the best experience with Hope! She handled herself with such grace, poise & professionalism. My now husband reached out to her to have her capture our surprise professional! She delivered such amazing photos that we will cherish forever! everything that you look for in photos, the lighting, the candid moments & the more posed photos we're all top notch!! Her package came with engagement photos too! Once again she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera! She prompted us in such a natural way that really captured us !! We got so many awesome pictures from this session. On wedding day she was such a blessing! She has such an artistic eye and knows how to bring visions to life. It was so fun to have her there while I was getting ready with my bridesmaids! She fit right in and was so fun to have around. She captured so many beautifully candid moments from the day. She also captured all the important moments so well! All the first looks, walking down the aisle, first kiss etc. She spent time with us leading up the wedding and learned what our wants/visions were and really followed through with meeting them. She is really incredible and captured our proposal, engagement season & wedding so so beautifully! I HIGHLY recommend and have told all my friends about her! :)

    SHES THE BEST!!

    Hope was truly the best to work with! She was the sweetest and most joyful soul, she kept everyone calm, cool and collected. We really didn’t have to worry about a thing. My son and dil day wasn’t possible without her!

Typically, couples book me about 8-13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Depending on your package, you will receive 400-900+ photos.
My turnaround time is 6-8 weeks for every package! And each package includes 24-72hr sneak peeks!
Absolutely! I never deliver RAW images!
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them!
