Loved the photos but....
We are very happy with our wedding photos. Our gallery turned out great and our day-of shooter was great to work with. However, the communication between ourselves and Magic Hour was not what we would have liked. Just over a week before our wedding, we met with Robert over zoom, we went over our timeline, shots that we wanted and our expectations for him on our wedding day. On the Monday before our wedding, just 5 days before, we were notified through a perfunctory email who our day of photographer would be. I immediately reached out to Robert who informed me "To address your concerns, Magic Hour Portraits has other talented photographers who provide photography services from time to time based on scheduling". This left us scrambling 5 days before communicating with an entirely new photographer. The change in photographers had not been communicated in any way with us beyond the perfunctory email less than a week before the wedding. While things did work out, and we love the photos we were given, the lack of communication on the photographer change added stress to an already stressful week.

Robert was great with us for the photo shoot! He was great at putting us at ease and breaking the ice when we felt a little stiff and awkward. He was also great in directing us for the best poses and backgrounds. I got to look at our gallery the first time while I was at work-my coworkers were just as excited to see how they turned out- and was so in love, I was grinning all day. I cannot wait to utilize these for save the dates and invitations! Robert has been so kind and generous and this was an overall great experience!
