I'm Melody, the photographer and founder behind Melody Anderson Photography. I create timeless, documentary imagery with an editorial edge for couples who value artistry and intention on their wedding day. My style leans quiet and romantic, shaped by soft natural light and the in between moments that often hold the most meaning. I believe the best wedding photographs feel less like posed portraits and more like memories you can step back into. Beyond the work itself, I care deeply about the experience. My goal is for you to feel fully present and completely yourself while I document the day as it unfolds around you.
I take on a limited number of weddings each year so that every couple receives my full attention from our first conversation through the final gallery. My work is documentary at heart with an editorial edge, and my presence is calm and considered, so your day feels as beautiful to live as it looks in the photographs you'll hold onto for a lifetime.

Stunning
This is LONG overdue. Booking Melody was one of the best decisions I made for our wedding. Starting at our super fun engagement shoot - the pictures were unreal. She captured the light/scenery/emotion perfectly. To our acutal wedding day, Melody made the day feel effortless from start to finish. She responded quickly to every question we had (even with a time difference) and was always there when we needed her, which put us at ease before the big day. During the ceremony and reception, Melody stayed calm and focused, even when hunting for the perfect sunset shot—she knew exactly how to capture what we were looking for. The photos she delivered are breathtaking and full of candid moments that show who we really are. Guests have told us our pictures look like they belong in a wedding magazine, and we couldn't agree more. Amazing vibes and work!
Melody was amazing to work with! Not only is her work amazing but she is such a wonderful person!! We were dealing with some Lion's football and bitter cold weather scheduling constraints and she put us at ease and it all worked out perfectly. We got all the shots we wanted and more!! Her prompts and eye of what to capture are unmatched!!! WE LOVE OUR PICS!

Melody is great at what she does! I loved the way my photos turned out. I only wish there was better timing. I feel my timeline didn’t match what I wanted and I missed out on some photos I would have loved to get. But everything I received was fantastic and I will cherish forever!
