    Great, professional experience!

    We had such a great experience with Merrygold Studio and would absolutely recommend them! Communication throughout the entire process was clear, professional, and reassuring. About two weeks before our wedding, the photographer originally scheduled for us had an unexpected family emergency and was no longer able to photograph our wedding. These things happen, and I was impressed with how the situation was handled. We were notified and another photographer was immediately arranged for us. Both our original photographer and the owner personally emailed me to apologize, explain the situation, and assure me that all of our wedding details and preferences had been passed along. I was also able to communicate with our new photographer before the wedding, and he reassured me that he had received everything and was prepared for the day. The whole transition was handled so smoothly. On our wedding day, our photographer was fantastic. He made sure we got all of the photos we wanted while also being very flexible with our schedule. I wanted to keep my dress hidden from guests until the ceremony, so we had to adjust the timing and order of some of our getting-ready photos, and he worked around that without any problem. We also wanted to take some additional couple portraits, and he was enthusiastic about making sure we got them. I especially appreciated his guidance on how and where to stand, which made me feel more comfortable since I’m usually camera shy. Our guests even commented afterward about how great he seemed. Several people noticed how active he was throughout the wedding, capturing different moments and making sure he was getting plenty of photos. We were also impressed with the turnaround time. We received our completed gallery within two weeks of the wedding, with almost 1,000 photos. There are so many beautiful photos of not only us, but also our family, friends, ceremony, reception, and all of the little moments throughout the day. From their communication and professionalism to how they handled an unexpected photographer change and the experience on the wedding day itself, we were extremely happy with Merrygold Studio. We have so many photos to remember our wedding by and would happily recommend them to other couples!

    Best best best!!

    The Team was amazing to work with! As our wedding approached, we had a few unexpected issues come up, but they handled everything with such flexibility and professionalism. They adjusted quickly to the changes and helped ease my nerves during a stressful time. I would absolutely love the opportunity to work with Merrygold Studio again for future photo sessions.

    Excellent job

Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
You can expect about 100-150 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 20 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
