I'm Mikaela. I’ve been shooting weddings for over SEVEN years, and it has been an absolutely amazing experience to be completely enveloped in times that are filled with so much love, happiness, intimacy, beauty, and of course, cake. My heart skips a beat when I see how much others love, and can be loved. I really enjoy creative, unique, and authentic couples who are excited to explore wild adventures together. I'm a natural light, golden sun lover kind of photographer and cherish capturing the unscripted moments of life, and the most pure laughter and joy this world has to offer.

This isn't going to be a day of staged, awkward feeling, forced smiles, and poses you see every day on the internet. While I love a stunning sunset, a bright sun flare, and a stellar veil shot, I love the "imperfectly-perfect" shot so much more. I'm not a vendor and you're not my client. We're friends. It's cheesy and weird, but I get really invested in my couples, and their big day. By being SO invested in each couple and their big day, I feel I can best serve your needs and bring your dreams to reality.

    I would recommend Mikaela to anyone that wants to have the best experience ever taking pictures. She’s extremely kind, funny and passionate about what she did. She took our pictures and got us some sneak peeks within 72 hours. This is the second time using her and she’ll be my go to photographer for ever!
