I’m Denise Chastain, a Long Island wedding photographer with more than three decades of experience. My approach is documentary-driven, shaped by a strong editorial background and one simple priority: I’m in the business of you enjoying your wedding day. I want you to forget about me and the camera so you can stay present with the people you love. One of my favorite compliments from a couple is, “Denise, I know you were there photographing my wedding, but where were you?” Then they see their photographs and realize I was everywhere.

Typically, couples book me about 18 to 3 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of shooting. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In more than three decades as a Long Island wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by an experienced photographer I know and trust.
Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to download all of your high-resolution image files from the online gallery, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.
I can shoot alone or with a team. It's all depends on the size of your wedding and your needs.
