You deserve joyful, jaw-dropping photos - even if you hate being photographed! I'm Morgan, owner and lead photographer of MPT Photography. We're a queer-owned and Denver-based wedding photography business focused on creating cinematic, story-driven galleries that authentically capture your relationship, community, and celebration. Aside from taking photos that'll make you kick your feet, I love being an advocate for each couples priorities, cultivating a joyful and stress-free experience. I also love traveling for weddings!

By combining editorial framing with documentary coverage, I create cinematic wedding galleries without taking you out of the moment. Two of your best friends meeting for the first time, a quick giggle with your sibling, subconsciously linking fingers with your new spouse - by freezing the tiny moments we don't always realize are happening, your gallery will transport you right back to the heart of your wedding.     An experience of a life time

    Morgan was such an amazing photographer to work with! I’ve never felt so calm and comfortable during a shoot before. She was such a sweet energy to be around. It was really nice to do a shoot with someone who is very experienced and could help direct our poses when we didn’t know what to do. She was also very funny and made us laugh, which resulted in the cutest pictures ever. I would absolutely do another shoot with her, and will definitely schedule one for the future.

    Amazing Engagement Photos

    Morgan was incredible to work with for our engagement shoot! Not only did she come prepared with a great vision and clear research on the optimal spots for photos at our shoot location, but she was also incredibly receptive to our questions throughout the process, incorporating our feedback in real time. More importantly, Morgan is great at making you feel comfortable throughout the shoot which clearly comes through in the final result. Could not recommend her more for anyone needing engagement/wedding photos.

    HOLY MANGOES Morgan photography is amazing!

    From our first conversation, MPT Photography was the best! Call me cheesy but she truly is the the best photographer in the denver area. Her witty charm and delightful manners made my shy personality feel at ease. Could not more recommend more for couples who feel shy and need a warm personality to make you feel more comfortable infront of the camera. Professional and clear communications from the start. Yes! I've traveled from Costa Rica to Maine to photograph weddings and love getting creative in new locations.
Cinematic photography generally means getting photos that feel like stills from a movie. For me, it means combining story-driven, documentary coverage with the artistic framing of editorial images. During wedding portraits, I get the classic poses, then use fun prompts to bring out the chemistry between you and your spouse. Most of the day, I'm a fly on the wall chasing tiny moments of joy (but always have time if someone asks me to snap a quick pic). For details, I take the classic shots before organically weave them into the rest of your album. You'll end up with gorgeous, authentic art that reflects your wedding day and your love story.
It is not your job to come in feeling comfortable in front of a camera, it's my job to help get you there. I have a ton of tips and tricks I share with every couple to help you get photos that are organic and authentically joyful. You'll end up with photos that truly look like you — the version your favorite humans see when you're at your happiest.​

I am first and foremost an advocate for you as a couple, and I want to make sure your day is planned in a way that gives you as much time as possible to spend with your family and new spouse, while still getting the photos of your dreams.
Starting with the most important take first: There is no one right way to plan a wedding. You are not planning too late, you are not planning too early. Regardless of where you are in the process, there is always time to create an incredible day that lets you celebrate with your community. And that joy deserves to be captured. While couples typically book me a year or so before their wedding, never hesitate to reach out if you're working on a shorter time frame.
