Welcome! I’m Anushka (friends call me Nush/Nushy), a Digital and Analog photographer serving the greater New York City Metro area. I specialize in photography for couples, intimate events, the arts, and general portraiture. My work is guided by a simple belief: the most powerful images are the ones that feel true. Whether it’s capturing quiet in-between moments or celebrating bold expression, I focus on preserving effortless, authentic memories and timeless beauty that will resonate for years to come.     Best wedding photographer!

    We couldn't be happier with how our wedding photos turned out! We were nervous about posing for photos, but Anushka put us at ease right from the start with her open and friendly style. She really understood our vision and took it to the next level with her artistic eye. What impressed us the most was how she captured the vibe of our day—every photo feels authentic to who we are. The quality of her work is incredible, and we felt like we got so much value for what we paid. We'd recommend her to any couple looking for a photographer who truly gets it.

    hire her!!

    I did a city hall shoot with Anushka, and I'm so so happy with the photos!! She did both digital and film photos, and was using so many different cameras at once like we were so impressed! She was also super familiar with the whole city hall wedding process (she had clearly done lots of shoots there), which was great bc she knew exactly where to take what picture and guide us to the right entrances, etc.!! It would have been a mess without her. We also had someone separate filming video content, and she worked with her so seamlessly! Altogether such a good experience!!!

    Highly Recommend!!

    My fiancé and I reached out to Anushka to do a city engagement photo shoot and we could not be happier with the entire experience! From the start, Anushka was helpful and engaging, as well as open to discussion on what we were looking for in our photos. Anushka was beyond sweet and helped us feel comfortable while taking photos in a public space. The best part of the photo shoot was watching Anushka’s creative eye take control and point out little spots that would work for a picture. We’ve received some of the best photos we’ve ever had taken. We can’t recommend Anushka enough!

    Fantastic photography

    Anushka did an amazing job with our engagement photos at a totally reasonable rate. She traipsed around Manhattan with us capturing the moment at multiple sites that are special to me and my fiance. She was so flexible with our preferences and generous with her time. I’ll be recommending her to all of my friends looking for a photographer in nyc.

    Courthouse wedding photos turned out AMAZING

    Nushy is a natural! Rohan and I had never had a photoshoot before, and had a general idea of what we wanted for our courthouse wedding, but Nushy filled in the blanks so nicely asking for inspo and making sure we had a solid plan of action for the day. The pictures turned out natural looking and beautiful, really capturing the essence of our intimate day! Nushy herself is very hardworking, detailed oriented, and came up with so many great ideas when we were taking pictures. I highly recommend her services, she is a great people person and really makes you feel at ease. Any other photoshoot opportunities I have I’ll be sure to reach out to Nushy!

Typically, couples book me about 3-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding, and 2-5 weeks after an engagement party/session or elopement. You can expect to receive a personalized online gallery with full downloading and sharing permissions for your loved ones' easy access, as well as options to print images.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
For larger weddings (75+ guests), I’ll typically bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra and is budgeted into your package.
I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement. I am here to support you in every step of the process, and will never leave you hanging.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible. I work with several vendor networks that offer Super8 and traditional video services and am happy to get you in contact with them if this is something you're interested in pursuing separately.
