Breach of contract
Brides beware! I signed a contract with Olivia for my Sept 2026 wedding in Sept 2025. The contract specifically stipulates that my package is with Olivia herself as lead shooter. It does not contain any provisions that she can substitute herself. Olivia also sells lower priced packages through resident/associate photographers. In late June 2026, Olivia informed me that she is pregnant and due in early August 2026, and that a resident photographer would shoot my wedding. She offered no opportunity to cancel the contract and recover my 2.1k deposit, nor did she offer any price reduction to reflect the less experienced associate shooter taking over my wedding day. She is in breach of the contract since she is unable to shoot my wedding day, and she is refusing to refund my deposit. My package with her cost 7k and she sells associate packages for 4-5.5k. Save yourself this headache and do not book with her.

Hi Amanda, sorry we weren't able to resolve this. I do want to correct one factual point for prospective couples reading this review: the photographer offered for your wedding was not my Resident Photographer, was not an associate photographer, and was not part of any lower-priced collection referenced in your review. She is an established wedding photographer I sourced specifically for your date. Your review otherwise reflects your interpretation of our Agreement, and I respectfully disagree with that interpretation. Since this remains a contractual dispute, I don't believe a public review forum is the appropriate place to litigate the terms of the Agreement.

We love her!
Olivia Wenzel Photography was fantastic to work with from start to finish. She got back to us quickly and answered every question we had, which made planning so easy. On the day of our wedding, she moved through family photos with impressive speed and efficiency—we got every shot we wanted without missing out on cocktail hour. Her attention to detail really shines in our photos; they're absolutely stunning and capture all the special moments perfectly. What impressed us most is that she's photographed several of our friends' weddings too, and every single time she's been incredible. We loved having her around, and we'd recommend her in a heartbeat.

The best!
Olivia is the best wedding photographer there is! I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to do both our engagement and wedding day photos. She is so nice and caring and makes everything feel so easy. Not to mention the photos come out amazing every time!
