Hey, I'm Mari! I’m a photographer, and I’ve been working with weddings since 2018. I started as a videographer, and because of that, I want my photos with more movement, and that can feel, in a lot of ways, more like something that is actually happening and not just a regular pose. I do editorial and fashion, so I’m open to concepts and new ideas. But mostly, I really like the movement in it. My journey as a photographer has always been something more creative and artistic.

For me, it's also important to connect with people who, just like me, can sometimes feel a little too sensitive and overwhelmed by this world. So my photos also have this aspect of not interfering with the way people feel about themselves, not forcing anything, and giving people space to just feel like their natural selves. I grew up in Brazil, so I’m also very connected to the experience of being an immigrant and to the importance of feeling welcomed and safe. I care about diversity, and I want everyone I work with to feel comfortable being exactly who they are. I hope you feel welcomed, respected, and safe in front of my lens.

    From our first conversation, Mari's charisma put us at ease and made the whole planning process feel natural.     So creative and kind

    She is absolutely wonderful to work with! Generally, these events can be very exhausting, both for the couple and for the vendors, but with her, time flies because she is incredibly creative, fun, and knows how to work with different personalities. Whether someone is more introverted or extroverted, she knows how to make everyone feel comfortable without invalidating, overwhelming, or invading anyone’s personal space. She is also incredibly funny and spontaneous, which makes the whole environment feel lighter and more enjoyable. She is extremely respectful and very quick when it comes to delivering her services. Working with someone like her makes the entire experience so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend her!

    City hall museum shoot - elopement

    Where to start… We had been looking for some time, as we had a specific vision and style of photography and Mari was the photographer we kept going back to when we thought of our special day. From our initial email, to phone calls, messages, we knew she was the one! We had a city hall wedding December 19, 2025 in Worcester MA along with our wedding portraits at the Worcester art museum. We were a bit nervous as we hadn’t really taken pictures like that besides our proposal and engagement shoot, but Mari and her partner truly made the experience a great one. We felt very comfortable and she guided us. We had discussed our vision prior and she made it all possible. It’s hard to find photographers that capture emotion but she truly made that happen. Every laugh, tear, along with every emotion, we can see it in our wedding pictures. We are still in awe and hope go work with Mari again!! If you’re looking for wedding or any photography that you can feel the emotions through pictures, someone whose art is so beautifully done, someone who is so artistic and cool, and of course, someone you can laugh with, this is your photographer.     Mari makes every photo feel effortless!

    Mari has photographed my partner and me twice, once for our pre-wedding session and again years later for a city shoot. Both experiences were amazing!!! She has such a natural way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She’s constantly talking, making you laugh, and giving you just enough direction that you eventually forget you’re even posing. She has an incredible eye for angles and lighting, and I especially love her editing style. It is unique and artistic while still making you look like the very best version of yourself. Yes, I do a Short Highlight Reel: A fun, 1–2 minute vertical video featuring a few of your favorite moments from the day, created for Instagram. This is a short highlight film, not full wedding videography coverage.
Yes, I always bring my partner, who works as my second shooter and assistant. He helps with lighting and other aspects of the shoot, which allows me to stay in a more creative flow and focus on the moments.
Your full gallery and your Reel format video will typically be delivered within 30 days of your wedding. Before that, you’ll receive a sneak peek gallery with 20+ photos featuring some of my favorite moments from your day.
Yes, I edit all the photos I feel are worth keeping, including some blurry or imperfect images. I love those little in-between moments that may not be technically perfect but still hold something meaningful. I only leave out duplicates or images that are clearly unusable due to a technical mistake. My goal is to deliver all the images that I feel add something to your story.
First, knock on wood twice! 😂 This has never happened to me in over ten years. But if something were to happen, I have many photographer friends whom I’ve assisted over the years, and I can count on them when I need someone to step in for me. They’re also part of my backup plan in case, for any reason, I’m unable to photograph your wedding. I would still be responsible for the editing and the final delivery they would simply step in to photograph the day.
During high season, dates tend to fill up quickly, and since I occasionally adjust my pricing, booking early also allows you to lock in the rate available at the time of booking. I always recommend booking ahead to secure your date and current pricing.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
To book, I require a 30% deposit of the total amount , with the remaining balance due approximately one week before the wedding.
