    Wonderful!

Working with Promani Weddings was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Loewyn was thorough in her planning, kind in her approach, and patient with us through every step of the process. Her creative eye really showed during golden hour when she pulled us aside during the reception to capture some stunning photos that we treasure. The quality of her work is beautiful and exceeded what we were hoping for. From start to finish, Loewyn made us feel comfortable and taken care of. We would absolutely recommend Promani Weddings to any couple looking for a photographer who truly cares about their special day.

    Wedding Photography

We recently got our pictures back from our wedding and we cannot stop looking at them. Promani is a company who contracts out events to local photographers and videographers for events in their area, and we happened to be paired up with Byron for photos and Austin for video. Byron was our photographer for both our engagement shoot and the wedding itself, and the photos were beautiful. The engagement pictures turned out great and we used them for our guest book at the wedding, and asked him to edit similarly for the wedding photos themselves. We just got our full portfolio back and everyone loves them, it is hard to decide which ones are worth blowing up big for our home because they are all so wonderful. We had a second photographer that came for the ceremony and most of the reception, I unfortunately cannot remember his name, but he was just as kind and good at what he does, they took pictures all night and captured everything we could ask for. Austin, our videographer, was the same way in following us everywhere and capturing the special moments. Our video was longer than we expected, was beautiful, and we have cried every time we watched it back. It is amazing to always be able to hold on to that memory, and we cannot thank him enough for it. We enjoyed our experience with Promani, and the pictures and content we got back definitely was the highlight of our quality content we were hoping for.

    Our Biggest Wedding Vendor Regret

After investing more than 6,400 in our wedding photography and videography, we ultimately left the experience disappointed with both the final deliverables and the months-long post-wedding process. Our concerns centered on editing quality, image selection, and attention to detail. We noticed recurring issues with exposure, color consistency, and loss of detail, and were surprised by images selected for the final gallery, including photos with subjects’ eyes closed, people not looking at the camera, and weaker shots chosen over stronger images from the same moment. We were also disappointed by aspects of the planning process. During our week-of wedding call, our photographer told us she had not yet reviewed the questionnaire we submitted weeks earlier. While we never expected it to be reviewed far in advance, we did expect it before a call specifically intended to discuss our wedding details. We had also requested black-and-white photos, but none were included in our initial gallery. When we later raised concerns about visible red-eye and other editing issues, Ben directed us to the contract and explained those corrections were considered “detailed retouching” and were not included in the standard editing process. We were surprised because we could not locate language in the contract defining that term or outlining those exclusions. To better understand why the gallery felt so different from what we expected, we asked another professional photographer to review the raw images with us. Her feedback supported the concerns we were already having and pointed to technical issues involving exposure, white balance, composition, and camera settings. These concerns were not simply differences in editing style or personal preference, but issues with consistency and attention to detail. Our videographer, Nolan, was professional and captured beautiful footage throughout the day. The filming itself was not our concern; however, the highlight film we received from the editing team omitted several meaningful family moments, including my parents’ entrance into the reception and footage of our flower girls and ring bearer. Ben acknowledged the issue and offered to have the editing team revise the video and add the missing black-and-white edits to our gallery. Unfortunately, the first revised video arrived more than a month later, and my parents’ entrance was still missing. Communication became another source of frustration. Follow-up emails often went unanswered, including nearly two weeks after we reported that the first revision still excluded my parents’ entrance. Other responses addressed only part of our emails, leaving questions unanswered and requiring repeated follow-up. We eventually received a second revision with the missing footage, but only after weeks of additional communication. Instead of spending the months after our wedding enjoying our photos, we spent them identifying issues, following up on promised revisions, waiting for responses, and hoping the next delivery would finally be complete. The hardest part is that we don’t feel joy when we look through our wedding gallery. Instead of reliving one of the happiest days of our lives, we notice the editing inconsistencies, missed moments, and details that should have been caught before the gallery was delivered. Choosing this company has become our biggest wedding vendor regret.

    Wonderful Experience with Promani Weddings!

We worked with Promani Weddings for our wedding photography and videography, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Our photographer, **Taisha**, was absolutely amazing. She is incredibly kind, funny, and has a natural way of making everyone feel instantly comfortable in front of the camera, allowing her to capture the perfect shots effortlessly. Our videographer, **Kaden**, was equally phenomenal—he captured the essence of our entire day perfectly. If you are looking for a professional, talented, and fun team to document your special day, I highly recommend Promani Weddings!

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
Typically, couples book me about 13-17 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
You can expect about 50-60 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 3-6 weeks after your wedding.
In my 7 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking aside from Hurricane Helene. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant.
