R & Co. Photography

We are Ben and Moriah A married photography team, both born and raised in Alaska. We photograph weddings, couples, families, seniors, portraits, and events across the state and, more and more, wherever our clients take us. We shoot as a team, and we have built the whole experience around being the calm, steady people in your corner from the first email to the final gallery.

Ben is the lead photographer, behind the camera composing and shooting. Moriah runs everything that makes those photos work. She handles posing, fixes the details most people would never notice, keeps the timeline moving, and keeps everyone relaxed. She often has a camera in her hand too and grabs a second angle, but her real job is making the moment right so Ben can catch it.

Description

Just you, your partner, an officiant, and a few of the people closest to you. Elopements are short - usually a few hours - built around an adventure or a location that means something. You still get the full experience: planning help, educational resources, a full digital gallery, and more, in a package under four hours of shooting.

    I could not recommend Ben and Moriah enough in trusting them to take our family photos! They're fast at responding to any questions or concerns you may have. Moriah makes you feel incredibly comfortable in poses and direction and Ben captures the moment perfectly. 😊 You can really tell they care about what they do! Would recommend for wedding and engagement sessions too. Just look at their portfolio on their website! 10/10.

Every time of the year is different. Our usual estimate is 6-10 weeks, but it can vary due to current session load, life events, etc. We do get out a few sneak peek photos to our social media within a few days of your wedding so you can at least have a taste of your entire gallery. We always want our work to be top-notch quality that you are proud to have on your walls and in your home.
Depending on the events of the wedding and the shooting time allotted, we usually get approximately 50+ portraits per hour of shooting. All of the best photos from the day are delivered in an online gallery and are available for you to download, print, and order products, all automatically and online!
Our goal is a finished product that you can hold, cherish, and remember for years and even generations to come. We have sourced the best prints, albums, canvases, and more so that you will be guaranteed a high quality product every time. Most of our products are available directly through your online gallery as a self-serve portal once that is made available. Some products, including our albums are hand made and designed and take a little more time and collaboration to make perfect!
Yes! We not only travel within Alaska, but all over the lower 48, Hawaii, and internationally! The first 100 miles or 2 hours (driving) round trip are included in your session cost. In Alaska, we will always try to drive wherever we can. Events that require air travel and hotel stays will be paid by the couple in a final invoice following the event. We cover any car rentals, gas, food, etc. Events outside of Alaska, including the lower 48 and international require a minimum of 3 nights accommodation; two nights before the wedding to account for travel delays, weather, etc. and the night of the event.
