I’m Stamati Boundouris, the photographer behind SBphotography, a New York–based studio specializing in documentary-style wedding photography for couples in NYC, Long Island, and destination locations. My approach is centered on storytelling and capturing genuine emotion, focusing on the real moments that make each wedding unique. From the quiet anticipation before the ceremony to the energy of the dance floor, I document the day in a way that feels natural and timeless. I’m based in New York and also photograph destination weddings in Greece, blending artistic creativity with an authentic, documentary perspective.

Typically, couples book me about 8-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
I focus exclusively on photography to ensure you receive the best possible images from your wedding day. However, I work with several talented videographers and would be happy to recommend them if you're interested in adding video coverage.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
You can expect about 60 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
Delivery time varies by season, but your photos are typically available in an online gallery within 4–6 weeks after your wedding. The gallery includes high-resolution images that you can download, share, and print.
