I’m Shelby, the photographer behind Shelby Nicole Photography. I believe the most meaningful photos come from real connection and genuine moments. What began as a creative outlet grew into a calling, leading me to pursue a photography degree at North Georgia Technical College and build a career centered on storytelling. Today, I photograph weddings and meaningful life moments across North Georgia with a laid-back, thoughtful approach. My goal is for you to be fully present while I capture the big emotions, quiet moments, and details that make your story truly yours.

I don’t just show up to photograph your wedding day. I take the time to understand you, your story, and what matters most so your photos feel personal and meaningful. My approach is thoughtful, natural, and rooted in connection, which is why so many couples continue working with me long after their wedding.

    The best!

    From first convo to engagement pictures, to the wedding day, we couldn't have asked for a better photographer to work with! Shelby listened to what we wanted and made it happen. She has a great eye for detail & all of the pictures are genuinely so timeless, romantic classy. I highly recommended Shelby to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding season.

    Wonderful experience

    Shelby Nicole Photography was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, Shelby was extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, Shelby's professionalism and warm demeanor helped make the experience fun and stress-free. When my family was not ready and did not show to the site, Shelby remained calm and patient, which was truly amazing. I was in a bind as the photographer I initially hired was a scam, but Shelby helped us through the process of hiring with ease, and I am so grateful for her. She did an amazing job on all our engagement pictures, and the photos from our wedding day are absolutely stunning.     Shelby was the perfect photographer for our Elopement and engagement photos. She was so calming to be around and welcome and made us both feel so comfortable. As shy people, it meant so much that she was patient and thoughtful and made us feel safe. She’s now someone I consider a friend. Our photos came out so beautifully. You can see the way she cares. Yes. Some wedding packages include a second photographer. When a second photographer is included, they are a trusted professional who works alongside me to help capture additional moments and perspectives throughout your day.
Yes. Every image you receive is professionally edited in my signature style. I carefully cull and edit each photo for color, exposure, and consistency so your final gallery is polished, cohesive, and true to how your day felt.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
You’ll receive a sneak peek gallery within 4 to 5 days after your wedding. Your full, hand-edited gallery will be delivered within 6 weeks.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
In over five years of photographing weddings, I have never had to cancel coverage. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I have a network of trusted professional photographers I can reach out to. A replacement photographer with a similar style and experience would be arranged whenever possible, and I would remain involved to ensure your coverage and editing meet my standards.
