Hi! I’m Belinda, the face behind Stitch in Time Photography. I'm here to safeguard your joy and create photographic art that reflects some of your most precious moments. I'm here to advocate for YOU! I understand you want beautiful photos without spending your entire day posing for them. I'm based in Iowa and serve the Midwest and beyond. You pick me because you want your wedding to feel real, not like a production, not like a cookie cutter Pinterest board, but like YOU. I'm passionate about helping you break tradition and celebrating your love in a meaningful way that represents you, however that may look. I'm here to cheer you on!

As your photographer we will spend some of the most important times together. I would love to enjoy these moments with you as a friend rather than a stranger. That means I won't force you to do anything you don't want to do because it's tradition, or it's trendy, or because it will look nice on my socials. If you feel awkward in front of the camera, great! I've got your back. It's not your job to be a model. I'll be able to create beautiful photos while you live in the moment and enjoy your day. I strive to understand what makes you special and create photos for you to enjoy and relieve for years to come.

    The Sweetest & Most Creative Photographer

    Amazing Couple photos

    We genuinely can’t say enough amazing things about Stitch In Time Photography! From the moment we started our shoot, she made both of us feel incredibly comfortable and completely at ease. Nothing ever felt forced or overly posed. She gave us the freedom to be ourselves, have fun, laugh, and really express who we are as a couple, and that made the entire experience so special.     Whatever you need...Belinda is your girl!!!

Absolutely. I don't just show up with a camera and tell you to figure the rest out. I'll help with your photography timeline, locations, permits, and all those little details that can make your photography timeline run smoother. You don't have to have everything figured out before you book me.
That depends entirely on the kind of day you're planning. If you're having a short, intimate celebration and just want the important stuff documented, a half-day package may be perfect. If you want the whole story, from getting ready through the reception and all the weird, wonderful moments in between, the full-day coverage gives us the breathing room to tell it properly. And if you're planning something completely different? Let's talk about it.
Absolutely. But I don't believe your wedding has to be traditional. Want the family portraits? We'll do them. Want to skip the bouquet toss? Please do. Want to spend cocktail hour wandering around with your favorite person instead of posing for 47 combinations of relatives? I'm in. Your day. Your rules.
You'll receive sneak peeks within 48 hours because waiting weeks to see anything is cruel. Your full gallery will be delivered within approximately six weeks. Then you can relive the whole thing from beginning to end.
Yes. Every image you receive is professionally edited in my signature style. I want your gallery to feel cohesive and true to the experience of your day, so each photo is hand edited with care.
Yes! Engagement or adventure sessions are included with my wedding and elopement packages. Think of it as a chance to get comfortable in front of my camera, spend some time together, and make some beautiful portraits without the pressure of a wedding day.
That's okay. You don't have to show up with a location and a fully formed plan. I'll help you brainstorm locations, consider accessibility and logistics, and navigate permits when needed. We can figure out what kind of experience you actually want first and then build the location around that.
First, we chat. I want to hear about you, your people, and what you're dreaming up. Once you've decided I'm your person, you'll choose your package and sign the contract. A 40% non-refundable retainer reserves your date, with the remaining balance due one month before your wedding or elopement. Then the fun part begins: planning your big day.
Most people don't. You don't need a perfect timeline, a Pinterest board with 600 pins, or a five-year plan for your wedding day. That's what I'm here for. Tell me what matters to you, what you absolutely don't care about, and what would make the day feel like yours. We'll build from there.
I understand the difference between capturing a pretty picture and capturing a feeling. The big moments matter, obviously. But so do the crooked smiles, the nervous hands, your best friend losing their shit during the vows, the way your partner looks at you when they think nobody is watching, and the completely ridiculous moments you'll still be talking about twenty years from now. I'm here for all of it.
