Rogan Events is a full service wedding planning firm based in the Hudson Valley, serving couples throughout New England and the Northeast. We specialize in tented weddings on private estates, vineyards, and private homes where every element of the celebration must be thoughtfully planned and built from the ground up. Our role is to bring structure and experienced leadership to the planning process. From early planning decisions through the final moments of the celebration, we guide the work behind the scenes so the day feels effortless for our couples and their guests.

Tented weddings on private property require a different level of planning. Power, lighting, catering infrastructure, transportation, weather plans, and a carefully assembled team of professionals all have to come together seamlessly. This is the work we know well. Clients come to us for calm leadership, clear communication, and the confidence that every detail of the day is being handled with care and precision.

Description	Our full service planning is designed for couples who want experienced leadership throughout the process. From venue scouting and vendor selection to design, logistics, and weekend management, we oversee every detail with clarity and care. Many of the weddings we plan take place on private estates and tented landscapes where thoughtful planning and steady leadership make the entire celebration feel seamless.	Planning a destination wedding requires an experienced planner who understands how to manage a celebration from afar. We plan weddings throughout New England, the Hudson Valley, and select U.S. destinations. From venue scouting and travel logistics to design and the full wedding weekend schedule, we organize the details so the entire experience runs smoothly for you and your guests.	Event management is suited for couples who have planned their wedding and want an experienced planner to step in and take the lead. Beginning eight weeks before the wedding, we review logistics, confirm vendors, draft and refine the timeline, and oversee the wedding day with calm leadership. This service works best for venues with strong on-site support. Tented weddings or private properties often require a higher level of planning.

From Plan B to the wedding of our dreams
It’s hard to know where to begin when describing just how much Stacey means to us and how grateful we are that we found her. In July, just two months before our September wedding, things with our original venue were going south quickly. We live outside the Hudson Valley, and when communication with our venue became virtually nonexistent, we knew we needed someone local who could be our eyes, ears, and advocate on the ground. We interviewed several coordinators, but Stacey immediately stood out. Her confidence, professionalism, and ability to navigate unexpected challenges with a sense of calm were exactly what we needed. When we finally decided it was time to pivot to Plan B, Stacey jumped into action without hesitation. The very next day, she had arranged an appointment for us to meet with the events team at the Culinary Institute of America. Through her connections and involvement in a collective of planners, she knew exactly how to leverage her resources to help us explore alternatives. We ultimately found ourselves with a new venue that was so incredible, we still wonder how it wasn't our Plan A all along! We initially hired Stacey as our month-of coordinator, but she went so far beyond that role. She visited alternative venues with us, helped us navigate the decision to change locations, coordinated communication with all of our vendors, and helped us rework transportation and logistics to make what could have been a logistical nightmare feel seamless. Throughout the process, our Zoom meetings with Stacey continually reminded us why we had chosen her. She knew which questions to ask, which details needed attention, and how to keep all the ducks in a row, even for a self-proclaimed Type B bride like me! Her team helped orchestrate our rehearsal, and on the wedding day, we truly didn't have to worry about a single setup detail. Her assistants, Cassidy and [name], were so warm, kind, and reassuring. When our hair and makeup schedule ran behind and our photos inevitably followed suit, Stacey and her team stayed cool, calm, and collected, helping everything move forward without adding an ounce of unnecessary stress. Stacey even went the extra mile to pick up and return our linens so we could avoid an additional delivery fee, which meant so much to us when we were already feeling the financial strain of changing venues at the last minute. In July, it genuinely felt like our wedding was falling apart. Stacey became our guiding light through the uncertainty. She brought us reassurance when we needed it most, confidence when we were overwhelmed, and a level of care that made us feel like we were never navigating any of it alone. Her professionalism, communication, resourcefulness, and genuine kindness make her an incredible coordinator, but what truly sets Stacey apart is how deeply she cares about her couples. She didn't just help us pull off a beautiful wedding. She helped us get back to being excited about getting married. Hiring Stacey was the second-best yes we made that day, and we would choose her a thousand times over. If you're looking for someone who will advocate for you, think several steps ahead, stay calm when things don't go according to plan, and genuinely have your back, look no further. We cannot recommend Stacey and her team highly enough!

Day of Coordination
I booked Stacey for day-of coordination for my wedding, and unfortunately, my experience was very different from the positive impression I had over the phone. I do want to mention that her bridal attendant and assistant planner were wonderful, respectful, and helpful throughout the day. My biggest issue was Stacey’s attitude and lack of professionalism. She was consistently condescending and rude to my family, bridal party, and even venue staff, and multiple people commented on her behavior to me afterward. Despite arriving hours before the ceremony, much of the decor was still not set up when I returned from photos around 4 PM, even though guests were arriving shortly after at 4:15pm. When I asked about it, I was repeatedly told, “I have it under control, don’t worry about it,” but things were either incomplete or not set up as I had specifically requested to the point where I was going to step in but was told to go to the bridal suite. I was told that she was "too hot" and that she was waiting all day for the assistant coordinator to put out the decor once she arrived at 3:30pm so I'm not sure what the point of her arriving at 11:30-12pm was. I was especially disappointed because I hired a day-of coordinator so I could relax and trust that these details would be handled. Instead, I spent part of my wedding day worrying about things that should have been taken care of. Overall, I felt there was a lack of professionalism, organization, and urgency, and the attitude I experienced made an already stressful day more difficult. Based on my experience, I unfortunately would not recommend Stacey for wedding coordination service.

From the moment we first met with Stacy, we felt confident that our wedding would go as planned. Throughout the planning process, she was not only organized and professional, but also a thoughtful sounding board for our ideas. She asked insightful questions, brought up important details we hadn’t considered, and helped us make decisions that aligned with our vision. On the day of the wedding, Stacy and her team were nothing short of amazing. They managed the setup and breakdown seamlessly, coordinated with all of our vendors, and executed all of our small details. From keeping us on schedule to guiding our guests where they needed to be, Stacy handled everything with care, allowing us to fully enjoy the day without a single worry. We are so grateful to Stacy for making our wedding day feel effortless and for ensuring everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. She truly allowed us to be present in the moment and soak it all in.

Couldn't ask for more in a wedding planner!
Stacey did an amazing job with helping to plan our wedding. Nothing about our wedding day was conventional but she helped put everything together in a seamless way and the day went perfectly. She was a total blessing and such a pleasure to work with every step of the way!
