Best decision we made!
Hiring Kristy and the Kinfete team was the first, and best, decision we made in our planning process! They brought top notch organization systems, expertise, resources, and recommendations. Every single member of the team leads with kindness, competence, and care. Our coordinator, Angela, took AMAZING care of us. She could not have made the planning process smoother or more enjoyable. Angela was instrumental in helping us sift through all the decision-making and chaos to build the most wonderful day. And on the day of, she somehow kept all the moving pieces and dozens of people running so smoothly and stayed smiling and calm while doing it! We knew our wedding would be anything but traditional as a half-Jewish, half-Indian, lesbian couple. Kinfete embraced our lives, visions, and assorted traditions with open arms. Our wedding was just a few days ago! We are still all smiles from how it turned out, and we have Angela, Kristy, Laurnie, Alexandra, and the rest of this amazing team to thank. We recommend them 1000 times over!!

Amazing wedding planning experience
Kristy and her team were recommended to us by a friend from college. We would recommend them to anyone who wants a stress-free (dare I say fun) wedding planning experience. She was always supportive, professional, and a calming presence. She made sure our timeline was comprehensive, managed all crises that arose, and was firm that we would not have anything to manage on the day of. They have an amazing network of vendors and got us some great deals. Working with out of network vendors was no problem, we had some unique requests and they were handled without issue. Can't recommend Kinfete enough; she even sent me a birthday card. Thank you, Kristy!!!

Kristy brought our vision to life
We had an amazing experience working with Kristy on our wedding! We didn’t want to feel like we were too beholden to wedding tradition, but also didn’t want to make our lives harder than they needed to be, and Kristy helped us find a really nice balance. She was super patient with us and helped us think through what was worth innovating on and where we should stick to what works for each element. She was super sweet and fun to work with. Definitely recommend working with her, especially for people looking for some non-traditional elements. We felt like our wedding really showcased our love in a way that felt true to us, and we are super grateful to Kristy for making that happen!

Amazing DC Wedding with WBK!!
We worked with Weddings by Kristy for our wedding in May 2026 for our wedding in the DC area. From start to finish, WBK, and more specifically our planner Alexandra, were outstanding in every capacity. In the planning phase, Alexandra was always available, and specifically as we approached the big day, Alexandra was very present. She responded to all of our questions and concerns quickly, and worked tirelessly to get in touch with vendors who were harder to reach. On the wedding day itself, Alexandra was on top of every detail. The entire day flowed so easily and flawlessly, and that is undoubtedly because of the planning, preparation, and communication done by Alexandra. We felt entirely free to simply enjoy our day, knowing Alexandra was handling all of the logistics of the day. Overall, I highly recommend WBK. They were easy to work with, reliable, and helped make our wedding day perfect.

You Will Be Grateful You Hired Kristy
We had the wedding day of our dreams thanks to Kristy and her amazing team! We used her full planning service, which included expert guidance through brainstorming, budgeting (which she did for us after we sent her our priorities and vision), venue searches, vendor sourcing, vendor communication, timelines, and unlimited video and phone calls. We cannot tell you how incredibly helpful that last option was for us. In addition to staying on top of every planning detail, Kristy also recommended the most amazing vendor team to make the wedding day incredible. My wife was a self-proclaimed anxious bride and hiring Kristy helped both of us relax, knowing for certain that Kristy and her team had our backs. If anything went wrong on the wedding day, we still don’t know about it because Kristy handled it so well. Kristy thought of everything, which took such a load off of our minds -- we really loved working with her!
