About this venue

Chapel in the Hollow is a quaint, mini Smoky Mountain wedding chapel and is a family owned and operated business — by Ian and Chastidyi. You will speak with one of us each time you email or call, and we will do our best to make you feel at home in our little slice of heaven. This sweet little chapel is on a piece of private property near Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge which means you get to enjoy the best part of the Smokies without having to deal with tourists, strangers, permits, or government regulations. This is an outdoor only wedding venue for your ceremony, and we have a bridal suite for the couple to use to change.

A fun outdoor wedding venue with a relaxed atmosphere and gorgeous scenery.

Because this venue is owned by a photographer, the grounds are being cultivated with photography in mind, and you will have tons of gorgeous nooks and crannies to get amazing wedding images. We have created Chapel in the Hollow to be an inviting space and a place that celebrates love in all of its many forms. Join us to start your fairytale in the Smokies!

Included in this room:

Your chapel rental comes with 12 mini pews. You are welcome to bring hanging accessories for them as long as it leaves no damage. Each one fits 2-3 people depending on size. These have been leveled to sit where they are at so they are not moveable. We have two beautiful vintage burgundy chairs situated in the chapel that we are happy to bring out for portraits on non-rainy days. We currently have four faux floral options that you can choose to use, or you are welcome to bring your own florals!

    Beautiful Venue

    From beginning to end, the team at Chapel in the Hollow made our elopement wedding exactly as we had dreamed. Ian and Chastidyi were quick, professional and thorough in their communication, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The chapel itself was beautifully decorated, creating a serene and picturesque setting that felt truly romantic. With its peaceful surroundings, the location provided an intimate and personal experience that was perfect for just the two of us. Curtis and I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful venue or attentive staff to make our special day so special.

    Perfect Wedding Day

    Everyone at Chapel in The Hollow made us feel so comfortable and made our day perfect. It was all so effortless and easy. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting for a wedding. From the chapel, to the benches, to the archway, decorations, and photo op areas; everything is perfectly aesthetic for a rustic wedding. The new getting ready room has the perfect lighting for some of the most beautiful pictures, no matter the weather. We are so happy to have found Chapel in the Hollow and have been and will absolutely continue to recommend them in the future.

    Chapel in the Hollow far exceeded everyone of our expectations. We traveled from Ohio to Tennessee on 8-8-26 and it couldn’t have been easier. Chastidyi was in contact via email with super helpful tips the entire time and the day itself couldn’t have been more perfect. Chastidyi and Ian made us feel comfortable the entire time. The ceremony performed by Ian was beautiful and the photos Chastidyi got are breathtaking. All we had to do was show up and get married. The day couldn’t have been more magical.     Chastidyi and Ian are amazing. There venue is beautiful, secluded and they where so accommodating! I could not have asked for a better experience, I was the most relaxed bride I have ever heard of on my wedding day and I could not have asked for more!!! Absolutely Stunning experience in all aspects!! Chapel in the Hollow is Amazing!

Absolutely. Your vow renewal is just as important as a first time wedding, and we are happy to help you celebrate.
Our property is meant for intimate weddings, and we can comfortably host up to 25 guests. We have 4 mini pews which will seat 8-16 people depending on size, and you are welcome to bring in additional seating. We have had roughly 40 guests on site in the past with chairs set up in front of the chapel.
Yes, though for more than 25 guests, you will need to have them carpool to be able to fit into 12 parking spaces in our parking area.
At this time, we do not have an indoor ceremony location although there is a space to change clothes. We do, however, offer several outdoor options including our adorable chapel.
We give you a grace period on property of UP TO 30 minutes prior to your rental time. You can use this time to decorate and change. If you think it will take longer than 30 minutes for you to decorate, you will need to book extra rental time.
Of course! The Smoky Mountains are a huge destination wedding location, and we have the perfect spot for you to elope.
Yes. You are more than welcome to bring fur babies of any variety as long as they are kept leashed while you are on the property and you clean up their messes.
We recently contracted with a portable restroom company so there is a handicap accessible restroom on site!
