          Our fairytale wedding

          Working with Meghan to plan our wedding at Convict Lake was a real joy. We had almost a year and a half to walk this road with her, and she was with us every step of the way. Meghan is calm, kind, and professional, and her way of working and communicating instills so much faith in what ultimately becomes a day that goes by so quickly. Meghan was patient and honest when it came to working through details and desires for our wedding day, and she was able to accommodate so much of what we wanted within the requirements of Convict Lake and the National Forest land it leases. Convict Lake Weddings underwent a tough and unexpected transition during our planning period, and Meghan handled it with so much grace and capability. We always knew we were in great hands with her, and the wedding day was more beautiful than we could’ve imagined. We got married in the Aspen grove, and our loved ones described this as feeling like a ‘magical fairytale’. The wedding tent felt cozy and enchanted thanks to many incredible local vendors. The food was absolutely incredible, and everything went smoothly. Meghan checked in with us often and was the person with amazing energy and expertise you want to have by your side on a day like this. If Convict Lake is special to you, we overwhelmingly recommend getting married here.

          Colleen, this review made our day. Working alongside you throughout this planning process was such a joy. From the custom handkerchiefs for every guest, the dessert cheeseboard (yummy), dancing with the Lucky Devils Band and gathering again for a brunch the next morning. Your entire weekend was filled with thoughtful, personal touches and so much fun. We are grateful that you chose Convict Lake Resort to host such incredible events.           Best in Class Wedding Experience!

          Convict Lake Resort is a best in class wedding experience. When you are at Convict Lake it's like the world stops, the resort is removed and inclusive. Convict Lake is intimate with stunning mountain views and the most epic lake. There are tons of recreation opportunities for you and your guests on site and there is FUN to be had in the hills. The food is wonderful (the Mahi is my fav). All this and in the end it's the service that sets Convict Lake above and beyond. They are experienced professionals and they are an inspiration in the local wedding community. They run the most consistent timelines I've ever experienced. You won't lose 15 minutes here and 15 minutes there because of poor time management. They run events smooth, seemingly effortless (that's what pros do they work hard to make it seem effortless) , their events are fun and there is always a touch of elegance. I adore my working relationship with Convict Lake. I adore the couples and clients I've been able to work with at this most amazing venue. Book Convict Lake, book a few cabins and stay on site. Convict Lake inspires love and joy and the magic of the mountains.

          Amazing Wedding Weekend

          Meghan was awesome! The whole team at Convict Lake was honestly super awesome… I don’t even know where to begin. Everyone working the wedding was super nice and helpful- if you asked for anything they were on it. Meghan was great for helping me to get the schedule made and then coordinate it before and during with the other vendors. And the food! We had so many guests come and tell us how good food is. And the location is just totally awesome too. Our friends and family loved being able to stay in the cabins near each other. I honestly can’t recommend this venue enough.

        The CUSTOMER may cancel this AGREEMENT within fourteen (14) calendar days after the EFFECTIVE DATE and receive a refund of Payment #1 less a $550.00 charge that is deemed earned for services rendered.
        Typically, events begin at 3:30pm with an end time of 10:00pm. We do have an after-hours location available for rent, $200.00 an hour.
        Our ceremony site location, event space and restrooms are ADA compliant.
        Yes, there is a parking lot outside the event tent. In addition, each cabin has parking.
        Set up, clean up, tables, chairs, china, flatware, glassware, and linens
        No, our venue is fully insured.
        Our location is located near the Mammoth Lakes airport with the option of renting a car. There are shuttle services available. There are alterative options including Bishop and Reno.
