My husband and I rented the captain suite for my birthday and had a lovely time. The room was clean and filled with new antique furniture. The staff was delightful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Breakfast was fantastic! There is a great creek out back that my dog loved and we really just had the best time. I highly recommend this place for a nice mountain getaway.

Why are there so many 5 star reviews ? This place is falling apart and has no scenic views. Photos on site look nothing like reality. The cabins are old and need renovation. The main house is the same. No customer service at all. Noise from main road all day. Our fire detector was so old it was chirping continuously.

The detector was ours to catch, and it's been replaced. Sorry you had a bad time. The rest I'd dispute. We have someone that lives on site. Our number is in your confirmation and your arrival text, one call and someone is at your door in minutes. You didn't call. A chirping detector is a five-minute fix, not a review. We sit on twelve beautiful acres against the mountains with many mountain views, and our position relative to the highway is stated on the site and again at booking. The road is not a surprise we sprang on anyone. You haven't said which cabin you were in, which makes "falling apart" difficult to act on. We perform regular service in all our units and when needed. NONE of our units are falling apart. Please tell me the cabin and we will look at it. Thank you!

Horrible customer service. There was no one there to help me check in, which was disclosed too late in the payment process, and then they refused to return any of my calls, didn’t refund me, and refused to refund through Expedia as well.

Thank you for your feedback. We'd just like to clarify that this property operates as a self check-in accommodation, and this is clearly stated on the listing prior to booking. All check-in information, including access instructions and door codes, is provided to guests before arrival. As this is a self check-in property rather than a hotel, there is no staff onsite to assist with arrivals. This is a common setup for many short-term rental accommodations. We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to ensure our check-in instructions are as clear and straightforward as possible for future guests.
