About this venue
The Fableist Wine Co. is a 120-acre vineyard estate in Templeton, California, in the rolling hills of the Paso Robles appellation. We take our name from Aesop, and every bottle we make is built around one of his fables. You take the whole estate for the day. Vows are exchanged beneath a sprawling heritage oak, with miles of vines and open hills behind you. Sandy pathways wind past mature trees toward our modern farmhouse, where the wedding party gets ready and up to eight guests can stay the night. Vintage details turn up across the property, including an antique train among the vines. With room for 200, we offer distinct settings for ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, so the celebration moves through the landscape rather than staying in one place. Our winery is built on stories, and we would love to be part of yours.
