Nestled in the heart of Marathon, Texas, near the majestic Big Bend country, The Gage Hotel offers an enchanting, historic backdrop for unforgettable destination weddings. Built in 1927, this iconic West Texas resort effortlessly blends Spanish-style architectural charm with refined "Texas Chic" sophistication. Spanning over 30 acres of lush gardens, intimate courtyards, and beautifully restored indoor event spaces, The Gage Hotel creates a captivating atmosphere for every stage of your wedding celebration—from romantic ceremonies and lively rehearsal dinners to elegant receptions and farewell brunches.

A 27-acre garden oasis under West Texas skies.
The expansive 27-acre Gage Gardens open through wrought iron gates to an impressive limestone entrance surrounded by a cascading stone fountain and native Texas plants. Pathways lead to three different venue options: Rose Garden, Garden Pond, and Garden Gazebo. Adding to the atmosphere is a large fire pit circled by banquette seating. The event area easily accommodates large weddings and parties.

This historic house, featuring 7 rooms, is enclosed with a masonry wall and fence. The large private yard provides an intimate environment with large trees, manicured grounds, and a stone path leading to a picturesque stone and wrought iron gazebo. An ideal place for a wedding, rehearsal dinner, bride’s maid luncheon or a private party.
