    Magical Venue

    I coordinated my daughter's wedding at Indian Rock Tree Farm and could not have been more pleased! The moment I visited it as a potential venue, I was sold! (After looking at at least 5 others) I fell in love with the property immediately and guests continuely described it as magical. The owners were extremely attentive and helpful from day one. I ended up hiring them as day of coordinators and they were fantastic. Both Karen & Sam were amazing and had solutions for any dilemma that came up. I could not recommend this venue enough and it will always be a very special place in our hearts.

    Disappointing tour

    Me and my fiancé are not normally one’s to write reviews or even bad reviews about companies or products, but we feel this does need to be shared. When I had first scheduled the appointment with the owner, everything went smoothly. Her communication was perfect. She was very kind and accommodating. She let us know to inform her 15 minutes before arriving. The day of we informed her that we would be there in 15 minutes and had arrived a little bit early. She called us a couple minutes before our appointment time letting us know that she would be a few minutes late due to her wine tasting and to look around which we did. When she showed up, she was clearly intoxicated, slurring on her words, stumbling and struggling to communicate to us certain things about the venue. She kept repeating the same things over and over. I did note she made some condescending remarks throughout the conversation that made us feel odd about the interaction. One being I ask what the weather would be like in July as this is her family farm, she let us know to read a farmers almanac and basically find out. when I asked her questions or raise concerns about certain situations that might happen, she didn’t seem to be well prepared on that Information. I wanted to note that the venue was clearly not cleaned for a viewing but we understood things happen. I do think this was a one time mishap but it definitely caused us to have quite a few concerns and decide not to book with this venue, which we were in love with.

Although mother nature likes to surprise us sometimes, the best opportunity for a sunny wedding day will be from May until September.
Absolutely! You will need to have a insured bartender to serve it.
Although we are an outdoor venue, we make every effort to assist those with mobility issues with our shuttle. We can drive those that need it to the ceremony chairs and then again to the reception area. The ground is not level, but we do have a wheelchair accessible restroom.
Yes, and our helpful staff is there to direct your guests to the best parking. We also have a small shuttle.

Yes, we require event insurance with a minimum coverage of $1,000,000 with Host Liquor Liability listing, Indian Rock Tree Farm LLC, as the beneficiary, for all contracted days .

Yes we do. We have hosted many weddings and have learned how critical it is to have a reliable person, that is not a part of the wedding party or a seated guest, to manage the day. If you do not have someone already chosen, we can recommend some amazing Coordinators or can provide one from our staff for a fee. IRTF Coordination Fee Schedule available upon request.
No, you are contracting with your vendors. We maintain a list of local vendors as a courtesy and are happy to share it with you after you book.
Yes, we hope you bring music and dance the night away! El Dorado County has established decibel levels and we will work with your DJ to keep the volume within that range. Music must end at 10pm. by county code.

As an operating Christmas Tree Farm, we do not host weddings from mid-October until after the rainy season which is usually the beginning of May.
