About this venue

The Magnolia Room is situated at the Oldest City's most historic property, the Fountain of Youth. The Park features 15 acres, making it a great space for weddings, rehearsal dinners, farewell brunches, & other special occasions. There is complimentary onsite parking. The property offers views of the Matanzas River. In addition to that ever-popular water view, there are exotic peacocks wandering the grounds. The Magnolia Room is a 2,500 square foot enclosed event space, with retractable bay doors opening to two open-air patios, adding an additional 2,800 square feet for additional guest seating or a dance floor. There is a private sitting room & a caterers' prep kitchen inside. The Celebration Cottage can accommodate wedding parties on their special day. Equipped with mirrors, private restroom and shower, refrigerator, large screen tv, lounge seating, & more. Choose your ideal setting for your ceremony. Options include The Peacock Garden, waterfront, the Spanish Mission, & more.

The Magnolia Room is a 2,000+ square foot enclosed event space, with retractable bay doors opening to two open-air concrete patios, adding an additional 2,700 square feet for additional guest seating or a dance floor.     Magnolia room at FOY

    From our first conversation with The Magnolia Room at Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, we knew we had found our venue. The team responded to every question quickly and gave us all the information we needed to feel confident in our decision. The space itself is stunning—tons of windows flood the room with natural light, and you get gorgeous water views that made for incredible photos. We had plenty of room for our guests to move around comfortably, and the beautiful peacocks roaming the grounds added such a special touch to the day. What really sealed the deal was the price point combined with the reliability of the staff and the natural beauty of the location. We couldn't have asked for a better setting for our wedding.

    The Magnolia Room at Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. They were very responsive throughout the planning process, which put us at ease. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with its historic charm and well-manicured grounds. The staff was attentive and made sure our day went smoothly. My family loved seeing the peacocks roaming the property - it added such a unique touch! Overall, the Magnolia Room provided a stunning backdrop for our special day and we're so glad we chose this venue.

We do not offer catering services. We have a preferred vendor list, or you may use outside vendors of your choosing. All food must be handled by a licensed professional catering company. All food storage and food preparation operations must be conducted in an approved, licensed food service establishment. No food operations can be conducted in a private residence.
We do not offer planning or coordination services. You will be required to hire an event coordinator/wedding planner to provide, at minimum, coordination the day of the event. They will need to be on-site to handle your deliveries, coordinate your set up & breakdown, assist in the orchestration of the ceremony, and oversee the different parts of the event throughout. We will have one venue representative onsite to oversee the property.
Yes, Renter shall provide us with a copy of a One Million Dollar ($1,000,000.00) liability insurance policy.
Yes, there is a $500 security deposit that is due before the event. This is separate from the rental fee. This security deposit is refunded after the event, provided all terms of the agreement were met, including departure time, removal of items, and conduct of guests and vendors.
Yes, Sunday through Thursday. Rental time is from 11:00AM - 6:00PM, including setup and breakdown time. Please be aware that the Park remains open until 5:00 PM and Park visitors may remain in the Park until 6:00 PM. Daytime events are limited to 100 people.
Yes, string lighting for the outdoor patios, elegant bar, wedding arch, television, and a portable column sound system.
Florida weather can be unpredictable, so we suggest that you rent a tent if you are not using the Magnolia Room. We are unable to offer alternate space in the event of rain. We do not provide assistance moving items from other vendors. Once our inventory is set up for the event, it’s up to your planner/day of coordinator, to re-arrange/ move any inventory.
Yes, at least one venue representative will be on-site throughout the full duration of your event. That person will remove trash as needed from the vendor trash cans, maintain restrooms as needed, handle any venue-related concerns, assist your vendors upon arrival with electricity, water, etc., & make sure everyone departs by their designated end time.
Yes, we offer a Daytime outdoor Ceremony Only option. Choose your ideal outdoor ceremony location anywhere on our 15-acre property. Daytime ceremonies are available 7 days a week, dependent on other booked events. Rates are based on based on number of people, day of the week, and location in Park, ranging from $500 to $1,750.
