About this venue

Majestic Valley Wilderness Lodge is a family-owned mountain lodge in Glacier View, Alaska, about 2½ hours from Anchorage and minutes from the Matanuska Glacier. Couples say their vows on our lawn under the wedding arbor with the Chugach Mountains behind them, with our hand-scribed log Grand Lodge as a beautiful indoor backup. The dining room and lounge seat up to 100 guests, with extra seating on the covered porch, and become a dance floor after dinner. Our in-house kitchen caters every meal, and our full bar pours craft cocktails and high-end Scotch whisky. The whole wedding party can stay the weekend in 21 renovated and newly built rooms and cabins that sleep up to 60 guests. Bonfires, the hot tub, yard games, axe throwing and disc golf keep everyone together between events. Weddings run from Memorial Day weekend through the weekend after Labor Day.

The best choice you could ever make

Majestic Valley Lodge alone is a beautiful venue set along some incredibly gorgeous mountains with fields of fireweed and an iconic little airstrip right next door. The venue has the old Alaska charm while being updated to feel more luxurious. The staff is where everything truly comes together. They are more than accommodating and incredibly generous with their time. No ask was too big and they went above and beyond. I cannot recommend having a wedding here enough. It was truly the best experience and I have absolutely no notes.

We brought our staff of 18 here for our annual end of season trip and we simply blown away. The location, views, accommodations, and nearby adventures were stunning. We felt so lucky and so well cared for. Shout out to the owners for making us feel so welcome and to Kendra for making the entire experience seamless. We will certainly be back!

My daughter had her wedding here and it was amazing. Staff took care of everything, food was great, views were second to none and the price was very reasonable for what we got. I highly recommend.

(Translated by Google) Excellent room. Location close to Matanuska Glacier. Very good WhatsApp communication, good explanations on how to get to and enter the room. The cabin we stayed in had a large common room with coffee. Great place if you bring your own breakfast.
