The beautifully restored Milton Ridge Historic Chapel and Reception Hall have been created exclusively for beautiful weddings and occasions with special attention given to every detail. Having your wedding ceremony and reception all in one location will make your wedding planning much easier. It gives you more control over timing and flow, as well as make things easier for your guests. At Milton Ridge, our event coordinator will assist in the planning of every detail of your wedding or special event. We have the ability to customize every detail to meet the specific needs for your special event. With our unique all-inclusive pricing, there are no surprises. The Chapel
Originally constructed in 1875 and beautifully restored in 2002, the historic wedding chapel at Milton Ridge is unique in it’s elegance and simplicity. Our non-denominational chapel is an incredible location for weddings and other ceremonial events. The Historic Chapel at Milton Ridge will hold up to 150 guests. Charming and adorned with simple elegance, it includes cathedral ceilings, butter crème colored walls, floor to ceiling windows and honey-tinted wood floors. White wooden padded chairs are set up and ready for your arrival

The Reception Hall
Maryland Reception Halls Purple White Flowers Table CardsThe Reception Hall at Milton Ridge offers a perfect, intimate setting for your wedding with a simple modern elegant design. The Hall was built exclusively for weddings with special attention to detail, lighting and atmosphere. The Reception Hall accommodates up to 150 guests with room for tables and for dancing. The Reception Hall is available 7 days a week. On Sundays rentals must start after 2pm. Chivari chairs and tables and the set-up of them are included with the rental fee. Catering is provided exclusively by Milton Ridge.

Surrounded by lush trees and rolling hills, our outdoor garden offers an enchanting setting for exchange vows under our charming garden gazebo. Following the ceremony, enjoy photos and cocktails at dusk on our delightful patio with shimmering pool. Most noteworthy, your outdoor wedding nerves melt away knowing that with the slightest shift in weather, your guests can be safe inside our beautiful reception hall, just footsteps away, at a moment’s notice
Bridal Cottage
wonderful setting for you to prepare both physically and emotionally for your day. The intimate family lounge is a perfect place to relax and enjoy for those moments with your family and friends before your ceremony. Two separate areas in the cottage give privacy to the bride. However they allow her to have family and friends in the lounge close by. Furthermore, the bright and cozy front room lets in ample natural light for make up application and beautiful photographs. In addition, the lounge offers a calm candle lit ambiance perfect for relaxing. Walk out the back door to a stone patio and seating area by the Milton Ridge pool. A separate Groom’s Loft offers a private refuge for the gentlemen in the wedding party as they prepare for this momentous occasion

Not the Wedding Experience we were Promised
From the very beginning, our experience with this venue was disappointing. When we arrived for our scheduled tour, we waited approximately 20 minutes before anyone greeted us. Once someone finally came to meet us, she didn’t know who we were or even the year of our wedding, despite us providing that information when scheduling the appointment. During the meeting, we explained our vision for our October 2025 wedding. We also shared that incorporating my Puerto Rican culture into our menu was extremely important to us. We were told that their caterers could “pretty much do anything” and that we would be able to customize the menu with Puerto Rican appetizers and entrées. We also informed them that we had hired our own wedding coordinator. We were assured that this would not be an issue because they regularly worked with outside vendors. When it came time to sign our contract, we were quoted a completely different price than the estimate we had received. We later learned that the consultant had mistakenly provided us with 2024 pricing instead of the 2025 pricing even though we repeatedly stated throughout the meeting that our wedding was in October 2025. When I brought this to the attention of the venue director, I was met with attitude rather than understanding. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was told I would have to pay the higher rate. It took my wedding planner stepping in and advocating on our behalf before the venue finally honored the original quoted pricing. Throughout the year, communication was difficult. Questions often went unanswered for days, and when my coordinator reached out for information or clarification, she was frequently met with resistance rather than cooperation. One of our biggest disappointments involved the food. We specifically chose this venue because we were told the menu was highly customizable and that incorporating our culture would be easy. As planning continued, we learned that wasn’t true. The only customization we were ultimately allowed was one appetizer. The flexibility that had been presented during the sales process simply wasn’t available. We also encountered unnecessary difficulties because we chose not to use the venue’s preferred vendors. While we had been told during the tour that outside vendors were welcomed, that did not reflect our experience during planning. On our wedding day, things did not improve. Our coordinator had to push just to gain access to the reception space so she could finish setting up in less than two hours. Throughout the day, no one from the venue checked on us, asked if we needed anything, or made us feel like valued clients. We felt like just another event rather than a couple celebrating one of the biggest days of our lives.Several of our guests including myself and the groom were also denied drink service despite not being intoxicated. At the very end of the night, the only interaction we had with venue staff was being handed a gift and told we were receiving a refund check. When I asked how much it was, I discovered the refund was for one dollar. After everything we had experienced over the previous year, that moment honestly felt insulting. The most disappointing part of this experience wasn’t the pricing issue, the vendor restrictions, or even the communication problems. It was the overall feeling that our happiness as a couple simply wasn’t a priority. We never felt supported, appreciated, or cared for throughout the planning process.

Best day of our lives
WOW. Our wedding day was a dream and so much more because of the phenomenal Milton Ridge team. Absolutely every person at MR from the coordination team, photography team, catering, DJ, and beyond is so incredibly professional, caring, detail-oriented, and focused on making your day and you and your partner feel so truly special. We have a million compliments to give to this amazing staff. It felt like they were all celebrating with us! Meaghan and Moriana not only helped plan and coordinate our day beautifully, they were so excited for us all day and made sure we weren’t worried about anything, making sure to have everything ready for us, even strategically got our one guests safely an ambulance to the ER before the ceremony (and back before first dance!) and made sure every single moment of our day ran smoothly. Feldy and Mira made the best photographers we could have hoped for. They were adamant about getting us the shots we wanted and Mira was just priceless with her joy for the photos they were taking!! She and Feldy have us so excited to see our photos!!! Our DJ, Tyler was just wonderful, made our night with some great music and had our guests dancing all night long! One moment I will never forget is running to the office to get something an few hours before guests arrived and feeling caught up in my nerves, but then hearing the catering staff laughing with each other while preparing our food. It totally snapped me out of my nerves and brought me back to the moment, reminding me to enjoy it all. The food was insanely delicious by the way, so many compliments from guests too! Highly recommend the fajita buffet!! Hubby and I are still chowing down on the leftovers 2 days after our wedding! I also want to mention how happy it made us to see Moriana, Mira, and the girls and guys serving drinks dancing to the music, enjoying the night, while providing us with everything we could want and more!!! The ultimate professional wedding team is right here at Milton Ridge!! Can’t thank you all enough. We are so grateful we chose this venue, will be recommending it to all of our engaged friends, and will never stop talking about the day of our dreams that you all helped make possible.

Milton Ridge is fantastic!
We had such an amazing experience getting married at Milton Ridge. Their all inclusive packages really simplified wedding planning, and their amazing coordinators Catherine and Meaghan made sure every detail was just the way we wanted it. As soon as we arrived for our wedding, Catherine and Meaghan put us at ease by taking care of anything and everything we needed and kept our wedding day stress to a minimum. Many of our friends mentioned that their weddings were so stressful they didn't end up getting to enjoy their wedding - our experience was nothing like that! I also would highly recommend using Milton Ridge's photography team - they knew all the best spots and angles to get beautiful photos, and they kept us at ease and comfortable through all the sessions. As a bonus, we got our photos back only 9 days after our big day. The food at Milton Ridge is also fantastic. They have a huge menu of options to choose from and our guests were complimentary of everything we had selected. We are so happy we chose Milton Ridge and highly recommend others do the same.

Wonderful all-inclusive venue!
We could not have been happier with our experience working with Milton Ridge to plan our May 2025 wedding. We selected them due to their all-inclusive wedding packages, hoping to minimize the stress on us in planning our wedding. They absolutely delivered, keeping things on track and ensuring all details were settled in a timely fashion. Communications within their team (we worked with two individuals, who were both present to assist on the wedding day) and between them and the vendors they provided were seamless, and they were highly flexible in adapting our initial package/contract to our tailored needs and final guest count. They also have the most transparent website pricing we came across in our venue search, starting the whole process off on a positive note. They are true professionals who know what they’re doing when it comes to weddings and events, with incredible attention to detail (and this comes from an extremely type-A couple). We loved every minute of working with them and could not recommend them more highly!
