About this venue

Mission Ridge sits at 4,570 feet on the east side of the Cascade Crest, about 20 minutes from Wenatchee. It is the second-highest base area in Washington, and from May through November it is a wedding venue. Which side of the crest you are on matters on a wedding day. Ours gets over 300 sunny days a year and the dry air that comes with them. The Main Deck sits above the valley floor and runs cooler than town on a July afternoon. By late September the western larches turn gold across the ridge. Utilize the Hampton Lodge at the base how you see fit, that doubles as indoor space ready in case the weather turns. Tables, chairs, linens and place settings are included. All food and beverage comes from our own kitchen and bar, and parking is free. Bookings run ten hours start to finish, including our set-up and clean-up. We host weddings, elopements, rehearsal dinners and engagement parties from May through November, and the same spaces work for a reunion or a company gathering.

Mountain ceremonies at 4,570 ft with stunning views of the valley or mountain. Enjoy cooler temps and a backup space steps away.

Our outdoor ceremony space, off the top floor of Hampton Lodge at 4,570 feet. It typically runs cooler up here than down in Wenatchee, which matters for an August afternoon in long sleeves. Couples face either direction: the mountain rising behind them, or the valley and the Columbia below. The Chair 5 Pub is a few steps inside if the weather turns.

Chair 5 Pub

A mountain-top pub with a full bar, perfect for cocktail hour, dancing, or an indoor ceremony if the weather changes.

The pub is on the top floor of Hampton Lodge, with a full bar pouring local draft beer, wine and spirits. It's phenomenal for cocktail hour before dinner, for dancing after, and as a complete indoor ceremony space if the weather does not cooperate.

    Wedding at Mission Ridge

    Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort was the perfect place to say I Do, and we felt so blessed to celebrate our love in the mountains at a location that means so much to us. From our first conversation with their team, we knew we were in good hands—they communicated clearly, answered our questions right away, and made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The venue is idealic, with crisp mountain views for a picturesque backdrop .and stunning wedding photos. They went above and beyond to accommodate our wishes for the big day, worked well with our vendors, and addressed our concerns the moment they came up. On our wedding day, everything ran like clockwork, and their professionalism combined with genuine warmth made us feel so taken care of. We cannot thank Mission Ridge enough for helping us create such a special memory in a place that will forever hold our hearts.

    Engagement party

    We had an absolutely wonderful experience celebrating our engagement party at Mission Ridge! The setting was beautiful, the atmosphere was perfect, and it made such a special occasion even more memorable. Everything came together beautifully, and our family and friends had an incredible time. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel truly welcomed throughout the celebration. The mountain setting provided such a gorgeous backdrop, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate this exciting chapter in our lives. We’re so grateful to everyone at Mission Ridge who helped make our engagement party such a special and unforgettable day. We would highly recommend Mission Ridge to anyone looking for a beautiful and memorable place to celebrate a special occasion!

We have ramps at the back of the main lodge that access the upper level where Chair 5 and Kawham are. The lower level where the bathrooms are can be access by going out and around on a ramp.
Set up, clean up, tables, chairs, plates, flatware, glassware, and linens
Your reservation includes 10 hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up. Any additional time will be billed at $200 per hour.
Every outdoor ceremony here has an indoor backup a few steps away. If the deck is not workable, the Chair 5 Pub or the Ka-Wham Cafe can hold the ceremony, and our staff makes the call with you rather than leaving it to the last minute.
It is 12 miles from Wenatchee, about 20 to 25 minutes on a paved road, with free parking at the base.
There is no lodging at the mountain. Wenatchee is about 20 minutes down the road with a wide range of hotels and vacation rentals. We do partner with two hotels in Wenatchee and can assist with connecting you for a rooming block.
