Welcome to our wedding and event venue, nestled in the breathtaking foothills of North Carolina. Our 75 acre working Scottish Highland Farm, with stunning views and beautiful landscapes, offers the ideal setting for your special day. The Carlton barn can transform from rustic and quaint to an elegant setting. Whether you're hosting a wedding or another memorable occasion, you'll discover picturesque spots perfect for capturing stunning photos. Our open-air ceremony site is beautifully situated in lush, manicured grounds , offering a breathtaking panoramic backdrop where the Blue Ridge Mnts meet the peaceful beauty of our family farm, where wide-open Carolina skies meet pure, rustic romance. The heart of our ceremony features an elevated design; you will stand up on the ceremony stairs, creating a beautiful vantage point that ensures every guest has an unobstructed view of the "I do's," and you can see every one of their smiling faces.

The Carlton Barn is the heart of our reception. Beautifully restored, blends rustic countryside charm with elegance. Featuring exposed wooden beams, warm ambient lighting, it creates a cozy atmosphere for dinner, drinks, and dancing. Just steps from the ceremony lawn, it offers a seamless transition into a night of celebration under the glow of the Blue Ridge foothills.

Our wedding at Paradise Family Farm was everything we hoped for. From our first contact, the team was responsive and genuinely listened to what we wanted for our day. They went out of their way to accommodate our requests and helped us solve problems as they came up. The rustic setting was absolutely gorgeous and gave us the backdrop we dreamed of without breaking the bank. Every detail felt thoughtfully put together, and the staff's willingness to pitch in made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to work with.

Country dream wedding venue
There is so much I could say about this venue. Diane and her team are above and beyond amazing. There were so many details I personally overlooked that Diane had solved for me. She had some addressed and handled and I didn’t know until after the fact. I was so caught up in what I thought was important. I missed having a send the bride out que and I would have never known because she coordinated it in the drop of a dime. Her vibe is so laid-back and chill. She’s super communicative and has all her details in order. There were so many personal touches like our last name in places such as the photo frame and inside the honeymoon suite done up and beautiful clothes pins and burlap sign. Beyond the ease of scheduling and planning with Diane, holly moly, can we talk about the beauty of the venue. The white barn with ferns hanging between each beam. Muah, that is chef’s kiss. The doors leading to the isle and whiskey barrels for how you see fit. There were highland cows grazing in the field behind the altar, which were groomed the day prior so they were fluffy and their hair blew in the wind. There were several perfect locations for photos, including waterfall, old cabin, dirt road between the barns and the Mountain View’s of the property. We were graced with the presence of little Fred, a baby Highland cow who did so amazing. We had a lot of younger children on our guest list and little Fred was just chilling. Diane did such an amazing job, especially for the children that may not have been well attended around Fred. She handled it like a champ and that’s above and beyond in itself. I could go on and on. Honestly the more I see wedding pictures from this venue and all the different things they’ve done and added, I want to get married again. In this exact location! It was definitely the country wedding we dreamed of

A Photographer’s Paradise
As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of working at Paradise Family Farm for a while now, photographing multiple weddings and hosting mini sessions there, and I truly can’t say enough wonderful things about this venue. First and foremost, the owners are some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet. They are incredibly easy to work with, organized, and always go above and beyond to make sure every detail is just right. Over the years, our professional relationship has grown into a friendship, and I honestly look forward to every opportunity I have to work with them. The property itself is absolutely stunning. From the beautifully restored barn to the picturesque outdoor ceremony space and beautiful mountains, every corner of Paradise Family Farm photographs like a dream. The scenery is full of charm, making it the perfect backdrop for weddings, engagement sessions, family photos, and seasonal minis. And then there are the Highland cows! They are such a unique and memorable part of the experience. Guests and clients absolutely love the opportunity to spend time with the smaller Highland cows (like Fast Freddy), and they add so much personality and fun to photo sessions. Paradise Family Farm is hands down one of my favorite vendors to work with. Not only do they provide an incredible experience for their couples and guests, but they also support other local businesses such as myself and many others. Their generosity, professionalism, and genuine care for the people they serve make them truly one of a kind. If you’re looking for a breathtaking wedding venue with amazing owners who will make you feel like family, I cannot recommend Paradise Family Farm enough.
