About this venue

Built in 1928, the Piedmont Room was first the home of the clubhouse for the golf course that resided within Piedmont Park. Now, it hosts some of Atlanta’s most memorable occasions. The original Stone Mountain granite walls and ivy-covered windows remain in the foyer while the main room features a modern feel with soaring windows, dark bamboo hardwoods and 15+’ ceilings.

Best day ever at the best venue ever!
I can’t say enough great things about The Piedmont Room at the Park Tavern! While it did end up raining pretty heavily about 1.5 hours into event, it didn’t stop how lovely the scenery and the skyline looked outside. Eventually it did stop and we were able to have some more beautiful natural light flooding the room. The communication throughout the entire process was excellent, and I truly can’t imagine getting married at any other venue. It was perfect and I’m so grateful to everyone who brought our vision to life.

Unforgettable, 4 years later.
We rented the Piedmont Garden Tent for our wedding in the summer of 2021. To this day, our friends and family compliment the venue, the food, and everything from our day. We had rain in the morning and our PGT planner, Ashley, helped us come up with options to ensure we still had a lovely ceremony, although it didn’t happen outdoors as well had planned. Day of, they shifted all the florals from the ceremony during cocktail hour and made the place look even more stunning for the reception. The food options and bar were some of the best we’ve had at a wedding, ever! They ensured we had food for my husband and I in the suite and plates prepared while we greeted our guests. The team at the garden tent was truly phenomenal and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you for letting us host our fairytale wedding!

We love working with this venue!
As a wedding planner, communication with the venue representatives is pretty crucial during the planning process. Lauren and Ashley are very responsive and thorough when it comes to talking through the logistics, event flow, and other planning details. They make it so easy for any couple (and professional) who may be hosting an event with them. The location of the Piedmont Room & Garden Tent cannot be beat. Its in the heart of the city, but you've got the serene background of Piedmont Park and the Atlanta skyline to entertain your guests. With all that the venue provides on wedding day (and included in your rental fee!), you really can't find a better venue than the Piedmont Room and Garden Tent!

We require all couples who are having their wedding ceremony on-site to have a hired day-of coordinator. Park Tavern does not plan or coordinate ceremonies.

Our rental fees are very inclusive! Tables, gold chavari chairs, linens, dance floor, customizable lighting, and self-parking are all included in the rental fee.

Yes! Brides have access to our venue and bridal suite two hours prior to their ceremony.

The signed event contract and payment of the rental fee and ceremony fee (if applicable) are required to reserve the venue.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

No, we do not allow any outside alcohol.
