Summit Vacation and RV Resort

We had a family reunion for 125 people. The clubhouse was spacious and accommodating. Everybody was comfortable.

The only thing that didnt seem right was the automatic cleaning charge, yet we were expected to pretty much clean everything before leaving. There was a note that stated to wash and put away all dishes. When we arrived the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. We still had a great stay and most likely will return.

It was perfect, water was great, clean, not over priced, had everything we needed. My family and I will be back.

The place isn't as big as advertised. The worst part was the hot tubs; the water was dirty and had way too much chlorine. My husband and son got eye infections; on Saturday and Sunday, their eyes were extremely irritated, and they couldn't even open them. The adults' pool was even dirtier, with lots of loose hair floating in the water—it looked as if someone had had their hair ripped out right there. It’s a family-friendly place, yet there was a couple engaging in inappropriate behavior in front of other families; the area is supposed to be monitored and subject to rules, but I didn't see anyone say a word to them. There is only one entrance to get to the river or the fishing spot, and it is very small; if you want to go there and another family is already there, one of the two groups has to leave—there isn't enough room for both! The cabins were very clean and well-equipped; that was probably the best part of the place.
