We Would Choose The Albion a Thousand Times Over
I genuinely don’t know where to begin when it comes to Jennifer Batinjane and the entire team at The Albion. They exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding, and I can confidently say my expectations were HIGH . I had such a specific vision for our wedding and cared about every little detail, especially how I wanted our guests to feel throughout the weekend. From the beginning, Jennifer completely understood that. Not once did she make me feel like an idea was too much, a request was too specific, or something couldn’t be done. I would come to her with one of my “okay, this might sound crazy, but…” ideas, and somehow her response was always, “Yes, let's do it”. And she always did. Jennifer was our Memory Maker/Event Stylist, but that title doesn’t begin to cover what she became to us. She remembered the tiniest details, anticipated things before I thought to ask, and genuinely cared about our wedding as if it were her own. By the time our wedding day arrived, I trusted her completely - which, as someone who is VERY Type A, detail-oriented and has a hard time giving up control, says everything. The Albion took care of our entire wedding weekend. Our room block continued to grow, we had family and friends coming and going, and I had individually personalized welcome boxes that needed to make it to the correct guests. Nothing was ever treated like an inconvenience. The front desk and hotel staff handled everything with so much care that I never had to worry. Our ceremony was at the Cathedral Basilica in Newark, so I always wondered how we could possibly follow something so grand and breathtaking. But walking into The Albion afterward and seeing our reception come to life was a moment I’ll never forget. Every detail had been thought about. Nothing was overlooked. It felt like the wedding I had pictured in my head for so long - but somehow, even better. But as beautiful as everything was, what stands out most is how the entire Albion team made us and our guests FEEL. Every employee made us feel like our wedding was the most important event they had ever hosted. Our families were taken care of, our guests were taken care of, and Robert and I were taken care of from beginning to end. Everyone was warm, attentive, gracious and genuinely excited for us. And our guests noticed. We heard over and over afterward not only how beautiful the wedding was, but how incredible the staff was and how seamless and special the entire experience felt. As a bride, there is truly no better compliment. I went into wedding planning with some wild ideas and probably a few expectations that could be considered unrealistic. Somehow, Jennifer and The Albion didn’t just meet them - they exceeded them. Jennifer, thank you for listening to every idea, entertaining every crazy request, caring about every tiny detail, and making Robert and me, our families, and our guests feel so special. I know there were probably a hundred things you handled behind the scenes that we never even knew about. There are plenty of beautiful wedding venues, but you cannot manufacture the way people make you feel. That is what makes The Albion so special. They didn’t just give us a beautiful wedding. They gave us an experience we and our guests will never forget. I would choose The Albion and Jennifer a thousand times over. They will forever hold such a special place in our hearts, and “thank you” will never feel like enough.

The Albion Summit, The Whiskey Lounge
We had our cocktail style wedding at The Albion, The Whiskey Lounge, this past June and the whole planning experience with Jennifer and her team was nothing short of amazing from day 1-wedding day. I'm still talking about what a great night it was. Every detail was taken care of and ran smoothly. The venue, the food, the attention to detail, the service..10/10!! We also had a morning after brunch in The Living Room the next day, which was also an amazing spread and a lovely way to send off our guests who stayed overnight. Highly recommend!

The Albion Summit
We truly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding experience. We wanted something small and intimate, but still full of love, excitement, and energy, and that is exactly what we had. The venue was absolutely beautiful, the food and service were wonderful, and everything flowed seamlessly from beginning to end. The hotel itself has so many great areas for photography. Our guests were so well taken care of, and the entire evening felt warm, elegant, and incredibly special. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Jennifer was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. She understood our vision and made sure every detail came together beautifully. She was organized, responsive, patient, and incredibly accommodating throughout the planning process. On the day of the wedding, she and her team executed everything flawlessly, allowing us to simply be present and enjoy the evening with our family and friends. Jennifer truly nailed it, and I am so grateful for everything she did to make our wedding exactly what we envisioned. And I have to give a very special mention to Lorraine, who was my personal bridal support on the day of the wedding. She was an absolute gem. She was incredibly attentive and always seemed to anticipate what I needed before I even had to ask. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful day and memories we will cherish forever!

The Albion knows how to party
The whole team at The Albion really made our wedding dreams come to life - they are the absolute best and so much fun to work with. Deidre and Jennifer were kind and genuinely excited about every idea I brought to them during the planning process. Deidre, the manager, is so organized and thoughtful; from our very first tour, she made the entire timeline feel seamless. And as a type A bride, I had many questions lol Our guests are still raving about the food, the venue itself, and about how much fun the day was - The Albion knows how to throw a BANGER!!! The hotel is stunning and gave us the perfect non-traditional backdrop we were looking for. It was such a perk to have everything including ceremony, reception and after party all in the same location so no one had to worry about transportation, too. Kevin, the maître d’, and the entire day-of team were so on top of every detail. They had all of our decor and personal items packed up neatly and exactly as they came in, which we appreciated so much. And most memorably, Jennifer was right there for the nerve wracking moment before we walked down the aisle — so calming, so supportive, and so clearly passionate about what she does. Overall, our day was everything we wanted: the most special ceremony followed by the most lit dance party ever. We could not imagine a better venue or better people!!
