The Brooks at Weatherford is a Wedding Chapel and Event Venue outside Ft. Worth in Weatherford, Texas. Whether a small celebration or a large wedding, this venue is ideal for couples wanting a naturally elegant celebration in a unique and picturesque setting. The 21-acre farm estate has an Old World Chapel and a 7,000-square-foot Event Venue. Designed by award-winning architect/owner, Steve Heflin. The venue provides a gorgeous setting for celebrating your wedding day or special event. The Brooks aims to provide a beautiful setting and place for memorable celebrations, significant events, and great enjoyment.

A rock bordered brook, cascades along the natural terrace into the pond between the Chapel and Reception Venue.

Architectural elements such as Old World Stucco, ornate wood columns, Corrugated Metal, Reclaimed barn wood, Persian doors, stained concrete, and 12 ft rock fireplace, blend to create a beautiful place where everyone will love to be. The Reception Venue houses up to 300 guests. Both Chapel and Reception Venue offer open air or climate enhanced options, eliminating the worry of weather limitations and allowing you to customize your most special day in the most beautiful place.

Designed by award winning Architect, Steve Heflin

Chiseled rock, wrought iron, and antique wood form the Country Chapel’s courtyard entry. Stained glass windows, rustic gables, Teak wood doors, and 18 foot steeple beautifully appoint the chapel’s exterior. Inside, a breathtakingly beautiful setting of timber trusses, rustic chandeliers, and antique church pews set the tone. And the piece de resistance; Arched picture and stained glass windows framing the tree covered hillside creating a most picturesque ceremony backdrop.

    Everything we could have imagined ️

    The Brooks was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The venue and its surroundings truly speak for themselves, and very little was needed to enhance the natural beauty of the property. It provided the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding day. Throughout the entire planning process, communication was wonderful. The team was kind, attentive, quick to respond, and always willing to answer any questions that came up. On the day of our wedding, everything was exactly as we had envisioned, which allowed us to simply enjoy the moment and take it all in. We did unfortunately have a burn ban in place during our wedding, so we weren’t able to use the outdoor firepit or have sparklers for our exit. However, that was such a small detail in the grand scheme of an otherwise perfect day. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful The Brooks was, and we couldn’t agree more. We are so grateful we chose The Brooks to be the place where we said “I do,” and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, memorable, and well-run wedding venue.

    Stunning Venue !

    The Brooks at Weatherford is truly something special. It is easily one of my absolute favorite places to photograph weddings. From the moment you arrive, the views are stunning. The rolling landscape creates the perfect backdrop for romantic portraits, especially during golden hour. The pond adds such a peaceful, elegant touch to the property and makes for timeless ceremony and couple portraits that feel both natural and refined. The chapel is beautiful — bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed to highlight the couple while still showcasing the surrounding scenery. It photographs like a dream. And the reception hall? Absolutely stunning. The space is elegant yet warm, with plenty of room for guests to celebrate comfortably while still feeling intimate. Every detail is designed with weddings in mind, which makes the entire day flow seamlessly. Beyond the beauty of the venue itself, Rob and Mari (and their entire staff) are simply divine to work with. They are organized, kind, attentive, and genuinely care about each couple’s experience. As a photographer, that level of professionalism makes such a difference in how smoothly the day runs — and ultimately in the quality of the images the couple receives. I always get excited when I see The Brooks at Weatherford on my calendar. It is not only a gorgeous venue, but a place where couples are truly cared for from start to finish.     Wedding review

    The Brooks at Weatherford was an incredible venue for our wedding. Their communication throughout the planning process was clear, friendly, sympathetic, helpful, and caring - they truly went above and beyond to make sure our day was special. The venue itself is beautiful, vast, airy, and romantic, with an established elegance that set the perfect tone. They were flexible in accommodating last-minute changes to our seating chart and the staff was always approachable and willing to lend a hand. We are so grateful to the team at The Brooks for helping to make our wedding day everything we had dreamed of and more.

    Absolutely perfect!!!

    This venue was absolutely perfect for our April 2025 wedding. The chapel is absolutely STUNNING and the weather was perfect so we were able to have the walls rolled up. The reception space was beautiful and roomy for our 170 guest wedding and did not feel overly crammed at all. Love the fact that the dinner serving area is behind the fireplace and does not take up any room for the guests. The staff that we communicated with were very professional and helpful. The only thing that was not my favorite were the sizes of the bridal/groom suite. Luckily our bridal party was not very large so it worked for us, but if you are having a larger bridal party it might be pretty crammed. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this venue to any couple interested in it!

Yes, We have an open vendor policy, except for bartending. We require our couples to select a bartending company from our preferred vendor list. You may choose to provide your own alcohol and then just hire a bartending company from our preferred list to serve it for you.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We have a golf cart to help get handicapped guests to and from the Chapel.
Your reservation includes twelve hours from start to finish. Couples may choose to work the 12 hours however works best for them. (Weekday cut off time is 11pm, weekends are Midnight). We offer additional hours at a fee as well.
