About this venue
A piece of history… The Cool Springs House has a long and colorful history. In 1830, James and Penelope Barfield Carothers built the original two log rooms of the Cool Springs House located at what is presently the intersection of Mallory Lane and Cool Springs Boulevard. Many years later, the house had major renovations done to it by adding the second story, the downstairs hall, and the front porch. The Cool Springs House is the ideal space for the bride that wants less restrictions and more freedom to make their wedding their own. It features a beautiful historic home with two large rooms inside, a full kitchen, bridal suite, and grooms room. Clients love our historic log barn, cute brick patio, and wonderful lawn that could be used for ceremonies or reception.

Venue Rental Package
The Cool Springs House is available to rent seven days a week. Rental periods are from 9:00am until 11:00pm. Peak Season (April, May, June, September, October) Saturday - $2,750 Friday or Sunday - $2,250 Monday- Thursday -$1,400 Off-Season (November, December, January, February, March, July, August) Saturday - $2,150 Friday or Sunday -$1,950 Monday- Thursday - $1,150 PLEASE NOTE: A $250 cleaning fee will also be added to all rentals.

If you have a vision
Let me tell you - CSH was EXACTLY what I was looking for on my big day. It is a beautiful blank canvas for any brides who have a specific vision (um, hi. im the problem its me). The venue is stunning, it's unique and spacious and feels so personal and the staff are exactly as helpful as you need them to be!! I am someone who prefers to have folks out of my hair who just let me goooooo. And they really were that. The venue was also more affordable for the whole weekend than the other places I looked at for 6hrs. Which made the entire difference to me.

We just had our wedding at the Cool Springs House a couple of weeks ago and everything was clean and orderly, my only complaint is that the grass was not cut prior to our event day, which had been scheduled almost a year in advance. With this being an outdoor wedding and the outdoor grounds is a part of the venue you would assume the grass would be well kept before an event occurs, especially somebody’s wedding. With what I paid for this venue, I would’ve expected the grass to be cut at minimum.

The city parks department mows the grass every week, so I am not sure why this was not completed but we will look into this so it does NOT happen in the future. I am happy to hear that everything was great otherwise. Congratulations!!
