About this venue

For over 90 years, The Warehouse has been at the center of Eclectic life. Built in 1928 for Lee Hornsby, the property has been in the family since the 1880s. It held commercial activity for cotton merchandising, lumber and hardware for 3 generations. In 1996, Aubrey Hornsby repurposed it as a social/cultural center. Its massive timbers, red brick walls, old-south charm, natural architectural comfort and grassy lawns inspire down-home livability. It has hosted The Alabama Cotton Festival, church/school events, concerts, theater, receptions and parties. Corporations have used it for photo shoots and as a sound stage. We have held over 1000 events including 600 weddings. Upholding the historical structure, improvements have been made to ensure comfort and ease.

Intimate and beautiful! Imagine having your special event at this simple but elegant facility located in downtown Eclectic. Perfect for baby and wedding showers, engagement parties, receptions, dinners, musical debuts, art showings, gender reveals, small weddings, corporate events and family get togethers. You name it! This venue easily accommodates up to 65 people. This space has a variety of photogenic settings with extraordinary lighting, exposed antique brick and open rafter ceiling.

The Warehouse - Main Indoor Venue

Perfect for small or large weddings!

This historic warehouse was built in 1928 and is suited for very special events and community engagement. It speaks of charm and grace through its massive timbers, high ceilings, red brick walls and plenty of grassy lawn areas. The Sycamore Courtyard is the outdoor lawn area, about an acre shaded in part by a beautiful tree. The Warehouse also has a lighted outdoor deck. With 10,000-square- feet, this multi-purpose venue has several event spaces and can make a wedding an affair to remember.

    Picture Perfect

    The Perfect Wedding

    The Eclectic Warehouse was exactly what we were looking for in a venue. Aubrey and his team communicated with us clearly and promptly throughout the entire planning process, which made everything feel organized and stress-free. The space itself is clean, homey, and beautiful—it gave our wedding day the perfect backdrop we envisioned. Aubrey had a pretty hands-on approach on our wedding day and the day before, showing up multiple times to check on things. Overall, the venue delivered on what we needed, and we'd recommend it to couples who want a warm, welcoming setting for their celebration.

    Elegance with a little rustic

    The Eclectic Warehouse was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From our first interaction, the communication was family-fast-easy, putting us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself was elegant, rustic and beautiful - the ideal setting for our special day. Aubrey was there to help with everything, including taking wonderful photos that captured all the joy and love. Shari and Aubrey were always fast to email or call back if I had anything I needed. The town is so friendly as well, and we fell in love with the gorgeous surroundings. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience. We will definitely be back to celebrate at the venue for all other occasions! I love this town!

    Eclectic Ballroom

    The Eclectic Warehouse was a fantastic venue for our wedding. Their communication style was great - fast, easy, and responsive. Aubree was excellent at returning calls promptly and coming over if we needed anything. The quality of their work and value were superb, with a big, roomy space and great lighting that was perfect for our medium-sized wedding. I wouldn't change a thing about the ballroom, it was just perfect for our event.

    The Eclectic Ballroom is a great choice when you want a smaller venue from our main venue, The Warehouse. It has a large space (4000 square feet) in the main room plus two bathrooms and a kitchen area. There is also a bride's changing room. Plus a wonderful staircase to walk down to then proceed up the aisle. Everyone loves those twinkle lights too.

    Banquet Hall- Rehearsal dinner

    Shari and Aubrey are very easy to work with! Shari is a great communicator both by phone and email. Aubrey is very present during the events. They both answer questions in a very timely manner and encourage you to contact them with any issues or problems you have. I would recommend this venue for your event!

Wedding, receptions and vow renewals are booked by the day. One day is 8 am to 12 midnight.
Our rental fee at The Eclectic Warehouse includes tables, chairs, staging furniture, drapery, lighting, stage, 3 bathrooms, full kitchen, an outdoor deck and a courtyard. Optional items include a wooden cross, quarter moon, hexagon arch and a mantle piece.
