The Lodge Library offers a warm and cozy ambiance for up to 40 guests for a wedding reception, rehearsal dinner or farewell brunch, featuring mountain views, bookcases and a romantic fireplace. The Library has access to an east veranda with additional seating overlooking the valley and Lake Estes.

Disappointing
We chose The Stanley Hotel because the venue itself is genuinely stunning, but we quickly learned that the beautiful setting came with some serious drawbacks. Communication with the coordinator was frustratingly sparse leading up to our wedding day, leaving us uncertain about important details until the last minute. On the day of, we were caught off guard when the coordinator yelled at us about where we were taking pictures, which added unnecessary tension to what should have been a joyful time. To make matters worse, active construction was happening right next to our wedding site, which was visible in photos and created an awkward backdrop we hadn't been warned about. While the venue's aesthetics are lovely, the poor communication and stressful interactions with staff made our experience feel less special than we'd hoped. We'd recommend asking detailed questions about any ongoing work and coordinator responsiveness before booking.

Amazing
The Stanley Hotel was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the very first interaction, their communication was fast and clear, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. The quality of their work was exceptional - the venue was beautifully set up and they covered everything we needed, so we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding. It was so convenient to have our ceremony, reception, and accommodations all in one place, and the entire experience was wonderful. We're so grateful to the Stanley Hotel team for helping make our special day truly magical.

Elegance in Estes Park
As a Planner, I've worked at The Stanley multiple times. The ceremony view is unsurpassed. There are multiple rooms for your wedding reception or rehearsal dinner, depending on the event size. Guests love staying at this historic hotel and doing the ghost tour. Even if I don't have a wedding on site, I send my clients here to tour, dine, and enjoy the movie history. It's a great place to take your guests on your wedding weekend. And for your wedding day, some of my favorite photos have come from The Stanley, it's got beautiful places on site.

I cannot brag on The Stanley staff and venue enough! Our wedding day was stress free and impeccably well catered and coordinated. Our guests had a fabulous time, and without us having to play host! There is so much to do and see at The Stanley that it was enjoyable for all ages. I definitely encourage inquiring brides to book The Stanley—you won’t regret it!
