Rustic Outdoor Wedding at Valley Green Inn

If you're considering getting married at Valley Green Inn, do it! We truly can't imagine a more perfect venue.

Valley Green Inn was the first of five venues we toured in one day, and both my husband and I walked out thinking, "Nothing is going to top that." By the end of the day, we knew it was where we wanted to get married, and it was one of the best decisions we made.

The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The ceremony lawn overlooking the water is beautiful, and with all of the lush greenery surrounding it we simply used the venue's arch, and the natural setting spoke for itself. Even though we had perfect weather, seeing the rain plan gave us complete peace of mind because it's just as lovely.

We rented out the entire property, which gave our guests plenty of space to spread out, explore, and enjoy the evening. The food was outstanding—our guests are still talking about it—and every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and professional throughout the day.

Working with Amber was an absolute joy. From our very first tour, her enthusiasm was contagious, and she made the entire planning process feel easy and fun. She was incredibly organized, responsive, and always happy to answer our questions. On the rehearsal day and throughout the wedding itself, she kept everything running smoothly without ever making us feel rushed or stressed. Both of our families commented on how amazing she was and how seamlessly she kept everything on track.

Valley Green Inn exceeded every expectation we had. Between the gorgeous setting, incredible food, wonderful staff, and having Amber guide us every step of the way, our wedding day was everything we hoped for. We would recommend Valley Green Inn to any couple without hesitation.

Excited to come back on our anniversary to eat at the resultant!

Absolutely Perfect

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Valley Green Inn!   First, their coordinator, Amber, is absolutely the best.  She was communicative, very organized, and so easy (and fun!) to work with. In contrast to other venues we toured, she talked to us as a couple, not just to the bride- we really appreciated this.   In fact, all of the staff that we worked with or encountered were just wonderful. The location is perfect- it's beautiful in any season, it's easy to get to, and can seat a surprising number of guests comfortably.  It's classic Philadelphia without the hassle of being in the middle of downtown.  Food and drinks were wonderful, and the partnership with Bredenbeck's for the cake was a great touch.  We got so many compliments from our guests on just about everything, from the location to the staff to the food to how organized the whole thing was. We had a gut feeling that this was going to be the best spot for us, and we were absolutely right!

The best venue!

Amber was an extremely helpful planner and super organized day-of coordinator. The entire staff made us and our guests feel well taken care of. The environment is charming and comfortable, and the staff did a beautiful job of setting everything up just as we imagined. If I could give 10/5 stars, I would! :)

Beautiful wedding, amazing experience

My husband and I had THE BEST experience celebrating our wedding at the Valley Green Inn! We initially chose this venue because it had the most straightforward and all-inclusive wedding package options, as well as a beautiful and memorable outdoor location. Since the ceremony and reception were both at the Valley Green Inn, and all of the bar and catering services were included, the only additional vendors we needed to book were the florist, DJ, sound equipment, officiant, and photographers. 

Amber made the wedding planning process incredibly smooth and easy by providing us with all the necessary information at different stages leading up to the event. She was extremely supportive of our vision, a lot of fun to work with, and made us feel like celebrities on our special day.

The day of our wedding, it rained on and off, and the Valley Green Inn staff was able to shift the outdoor ceremony to a tented canopy space, which ended up working out better than we could have ever imagined. Many of our guests said that the sound of the rain on the canopy made the ceremony feel more intimate, romantic, and connected with the surrounding nature of the beautiful park along the Wissahickon Creek. 

Something that I love about this venue is that it feels very family-friendly and down-to-earth, but the food and catering menu felt like a top-notch 5-star restaurant experience! We really enjoyed tasting and choosing our wedding menu ahead of time, as well as designing the floor plan, layout, and flow of the event to suit our needs. Overall, we had about 100 guests. Many people complimented us afterward saying that it was the most beautiful, memorable, and fun wedding they had ever attended.
