This North Georgia Wedding Venue is the perfect place for your wedding or next event! The Wheeler House is the ultimate package encompassing true southern charm! Conveniently reached by guests from all parts of North Georgia and the suburbs of Atlanta, The Wheeler House encompasses true southern charm with its meaningfully preserved, yet restored grounds and house. Built in 1906 by John. F. Wheeler, owner of the Wheeler Lumber Yard on Main Street in Ball Ground, the house was constructed with Heart Pine tongue and grove floors, walls, ceilings, and wrap-around porches. The Wheeler House is a historic gem that has been given new life by serving as a wedding venue and special event site.

The Best!
Absolutely fantastic place to have a wedding! Everybody was a joy to work with, beginning to end. The venue itself is gorgeous, and the staff is always kind and helpful. Thank you for making our special day the best! Cannot recommend enough.

We are endlessly thankful that we chose The Wheeler House for our wedding venue! Growing up nearby, it already felt like a special place, but the venue truly created a warm, loving and beautiful atmosphere all day long. It is an absolutely gorgeous venue, from the charming house and the stunning barn to the beautiful outside ceremony space we used. The venue offered nothing but spectacular views for us and our guests. Not only is the venue stunning, but the entire day ran perfectly smooth. A massive, heartfelt thank you goes to our incredible wedding coordinator, Abby, for this!!! She worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every single detail was handled and that our day was completely flawless. We felt so taken care of and didn't have to stress for a second. The rest of The Wheeler House staff was also phenomenal. They did a fantastic job keeping everything tidy throughout the event, and at the end of the night, they seamlessly packed everything away for us. We were truly blown away by how lovely the day was and we couldn’t be more thankful that we picked The Wheeler House. If you are looking for a venue with incredible charm and an unmatched team, this is it!

The wheeler house was amazing and such a beautiful venue. Their onsite coordinators worked with us leading up to the wedding and were so helpful. Abby did such a good job and helped set up all my DIY’s for the day! All the vendors included in the package are amazing and work seamlessly with the wheeler house! I would recommend this venue. We had a magical and beautiful day.

We had the best experience at The Wheeler House!! From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and so organized. Every detail felt handled with care, which made such a difference during the planning process :) Our wedding coordinator, Abby, was truly amazing!! She kept consistent communication with us the entire time and made sure we always knew what to expect next. It made everything feel manageable and way less overwhelming! Wedding planning can definitely be stressful, but The Wheeler House made it feel so much easier and actually enjoyable. We felt supported every step of the way, and that peace of mind is something you really can’t put a price on. We’re so grateful we chose this venue!!

Our best decision!
Choosing The Wheeler House was the single greatest decision my husband and I made when it came to our wedding. The venue is unbelievably charming, and we fell in love with it on our first visit. The team makes wedding planning so easy with the all inclusive model, and it took so much stress off of us during our engagement. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, and made our wedding day run absolutely seamlessly. Our coordinator, Ashley, was an absolute lifesaver. She helped bustle my dress when no one else could figure out how to, brought my husband and I drinks and appetizers during our family pictures, and kept us from running behind schedule all night. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and we have the entire Wheeler House team to thank for that. If we could go back and do it again, we would choose them every time!
