Its a lovely wedding venue. They do catering and have a wonderful staff. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is it is not handicap friendly. The elevator was out of order. That made it difficult for mobility issue people to use the restrooms or get to the buffet that were upstairs.

Hello! Thank you for the kind words and the review! We are so happy you enjoyed the venue, staff, and food. We sincerely apologize about the wheel chair elevator and the inconvenience caused. We check it regularly but did not discover the issue until the morning of your event. A replacement part needed to be back ordered but it will be up and running again very soon. Thank you again choosing us for your most special day!

Wow! The venue is awesome. Not only is the interior of the barn stunning, but the outside area and plant life are well placed and beautiful. We attended the garden dinner and could not have enjoyed it more. Andie Abernethy made sure the ambience and place settings were perfect and the 5 courses prepared by Chef Steve Nichols and team was amazing. We look forward to the next dinner.

Where to begin honestly. Upon booking everything seemed fine. How ever, everytime I would set up a visit no one would be there. I would end up wondering the property ON MY OWN except for the very first visit before I booked. They claim it wasn’t on the calendar, yet I have email proof of having picked that day and time. Maybe If you all had one person in charge of emails stuff wouldn’t get lost. As my wedding approached I hadn’t heard from anyone about the linens (it was written in my contract that I would receive a linen credit). On 3 separate occasions I had to go back and forth via email about this with them that it was written in my contract. Do we not look at those anymore? They kept saying oh we don’t write that into contracts anymore but don’t worry we will honor it for you. Maybe make a note then so I don’t have to do this constantly? It seems like everyone has access to the email and phones and no one signs off their email saying who they are so I have zero clue who I am talking to and having to remind for the 3rd time. When I booked I also chose to use their in house month of coordinator. I did this because they should know the venue like the back of their hand and I shouldn’t have to worry about anything. Well the day comes I finally meet my coordinator. First thing she says is about them not having linens for me and I need to figure that out. ONE MONTH AWAY. she ensured they would take the credit off my final price. What also blew me away is that she doesn’t even work for the venue?! She was hired as outside help and I was not informed of this. If I would’ve known this to be the case I would’ve just chose my own because the coordinator was not great. As for billing, I was the one who had to constantly reach out to figure out how much I’m paying and on what exact date. The contract states “2 months out” etc etc. does that mean from the day of the week or the number on the calendar? Every single payment I was the one who had to email Chelsie. Even that being said she would email me days after the “due date” but would “give me grace” by tacking on a few extra days. What’s crazy is even on the last payment after looking over the invoice THE LINEN CREDIT WASNT ON IT. I had to reach out to get that fixed. The one good thing to come out of this venue was the food. Everyone raved to my husband and I after the wedding about how good it was. Some even asked if it was restaurant because they want to go and get their food again. The service from the catering staff was amazing and people kept going back for seconds. There was one girl specifically who was absolutely the sweetest I don’t remember her name I wish I did. All I know is that she wore Juvia’s place blush because we bonded over makeup. Lastly AFTER THE WEDDING while I was on my honeymoon I received an email from Chelsie stating that one of the dry rotted, raggedy looking corn hole boards was broken by a guest and that would be a 200$ charge. They emailed me on May 27th around 8:35 AM. Before I could even wake up that morning they had already charged the last card I used on file at 8:36AM. They did not even give me the chance to respond. What if that wasn’t my card? What if it was my parents or my husbands parents card? I understand wanting your money, I do. How ever you could at least give some grace period OF A DAY OR TWO and ask what card I would want charged? Awfully quick to charge that fee but takes forever to hear back about the deadline for payments before the wedding. Brides use caution when choosing this venue. It is beautiful but is it worth the absolute stress they may put you through.

Vickie, the in-house coordinator is not a coordinator by any stretch of the word. If she's who's assigned to your wedding, do everything you can to change her.
