Welcome to Wisteria Gardens, a wedding venue located in Anacortes, Washington! Our venue sits on 10 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds amidst several unique outbuildings. It is a private setting which makes your event all yours!

The Space

It is a private setting which makes your event all yours!

The 5,000 sf event barn is elegantly rustic with string lights and chandeliers. It holds the dressing room for the bride which was remodeled in 2020, indoor men's and women's restrooms, kitchen prep and cleanup areas, and a store room full of decorations accessible to you. We have a sound system with microphones as well. The silo structure is the perfect spot for beverage service and social gatherings with a propane fire pit nearby. Our log cabin was built from timber off the property and is the "man cave" for the groom and his groomsmen to hang out in before the ceremony. Additionally, there is a greenhouse turned into a children's playhouse to entertain even the smallest guests. And barnyard chickens and Scottish Highland cows that love having company.

We can accommodate up to 200 guests, have parking on site, and provide all the setup and breakdown of our tables and chairs, removal of garbage/recycling, and assistance with post-event clean up. Our goal is to allow you the opportunity to fully enjoy your day so we take care of some of the time-consuming labor. Find us just southeast of downtown Anacortes, two minutes off of Highway 20 heading toward Whidbey Island.

10/10 Amazing!!
Wisteria Gardens was truly the most perfect wedding venue, and I cannot recommend it enough! Because we lived out of state while planning our wedding, Heather and Mike went above and beyond to make everything as easy and stress-free as possible. They were incredibly accommodating and always so available to answer our questions, send pictures when we needed them, and even welcomed our parents to come to the property multiple times so they could FaceTime us and walk us around the venue. They were so, so kind throughout the entire process, and we genuinely felt taken care of from beginning to end. And the property itself… absolutely stunning. There are so many beautiful and unique spots throughout, which made for the most incredible photo opportunities. Our guests were completely in awe of the venue, and I can’t blame them, it truly feels like a little fairytale. I honestly don’t think our wedding could have gone any more perfectly, and an enormous part of that is because of this beautiful garden wedding venue and its spectacular owners. We are so grateful to Heather and Mike for helping make our wedding everything we dreamed it would be. Wisteria Gardens will always hold such a special place in our hearts!

Our Perfect Venue
We were absolutely blown away by our wedding at Wisteria Gardens. Heather and Mike were so helpful throughout the whole process, letting us visit the venue several times, answering our questions and supporting the day of. Guests loved the cows, yard games, and beauty of the space. Anacortes is also cooler in temperature than nearby cities like Seattle and Bellingham, giving us peace of mind for our August wedding. Wisteria Gardens is also dog friendly which was so important to our day!

Wisteria Gardens is a must for your wedding
Our wedding at Wisteria Gardens was absolutely perfect. The venue is stunning, with beautiful grounds and an incredible atmosphere that made our day feel truly magical. Every corner of the property created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos. A huge thank you to Heather and Mike for being so accommodating throughout the entire planning process. They were incredibly kind, responsive, and genuinely invested in making sure our day went smoothly. Their professionalism and attention to detail made everything so much less stressful, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with. If you’re looking for a beautiful wedding venue with owners who truly care about making your day special, I can’t recommend Wisteria Gardens enough. Excellent Experience from Start to Finish
From the moment we reached out to Mike and Heather at Wisteria Gardens, we had an incredible experience. We booked our wedding on relatively short notice, and they were so accommodating throughout the entire process. Their communication was always prompt, professional, and incredibly kind, which made planning from out of state so much less stressful. Mike and Heather truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt prepared. They welcomed us to visit the venue multiple times before the wedding day so we could walk through our plans, visualize the setup, and feel confident that everything would come together. Healther's willingness to answer questions and help in every way they could made us feel genuinely cared for. On our wedding day, everything ran smoothly, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. Wisteria Gardens is beautiful, but what really sets it apart are the people behind it. Mike and Heather's hospitality, professionalism, and dedication made our wedding experience so special. We would wholeheartedly recommend Wisteria Gardens to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with owners who truly care about making your day everything you hope it will be!

Our Fairytale Wedding
Our wedding turned out better than we ever could've dreamed! We knew Wisteria Gardens would be the right venue for us from the first time we visited, and that impression was only made stronger by the warmth and kindness of Heather and Mike. What I particularly appreciated about Wisteria Gardens was how we were able to do our wedding our way, and use the beautiful barn, gardens, and fields and decorate them with our own aesthetic, use only the vendors we thought were important to our day, and make the celebration really feel authentic to us. A couple of highlights were the Pickle Jar Photo Booth camper, the cute cows in the pasture, the playhouse for the littles, the helpfulness of Heather and Mike, and the genuine joy that the venue facilitated.
