I’m Leland, a wedding filmmaker specializing in cinematic, emotional storytelling. I create artful, human-centered films that feel luxurious, intimate, and true to who you are. Based in Michigan, filming love stories everywhere.

I don’t just film weddings — I tell the story of how the day felt. My approach blends cinematic artistry with calm, human-focused direction. I notice the small, emotional moments people usually forget: a quiet breath before the aisle, a hand squeeze, a glance that says everything. My films are intentional, timeless, and crafted with a luxury aesthetic without ever feeling staged or forced. Couples love working with me because I bring a relaxed, reassuring presence while delivering films that look like they belong on the big screen.

    Wedding at Swinton Estate, UK

    Hiring Leland for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. He embodied exactly the vision I had for our wedding day. Reliable, friendly and professional. He came all the way to England for our wedding and he was able to get himself to our venue and did not add stress to us by having to help him figure out how to get there. I will continue to recommend him to anyone I know that’s getting married!!

    Leland has been wonderful for every step of the process. He did a great job of helping us figure out what we wanted, keeping a low profile during the ceremony, and helping direct us where we needed it! We love the final photos and video and would hire him again in a second!

    We truly can’t say enough good things. From the very beginning, the experience felt easy, calm, and genuinely cared for — which mattered so much to us.     Couldn't be happier

    Leland was so great! He took into account what my partner and I both wanted and threw together some personal touches that made me feel like the love was captured. He had a few sneak peeks available the morning after and the rest not long after. Would highly recommend!
