We're not a videographer. Nobody from our team comes to your wedding. Instead we ship you up to four small 4K cameras beforehand, your friends and family film the day from the inside, and our editors turn the footage into a 7–20 minute film. 3,000+ weddings since 2013. Most wedding films are shot by one person standing at the back. Ours are shot by everyone. Your guests get places a stranger with a camera doesn't - the room you got ready in, the speeches from the table rather than the aisle, the dance floor at one in the morning. The filming is personal, the editing is professional. We've been doing this since 2013, across more than 3,000 weddings, long before it became a trend. And you keep everything: every original clip, organised by camera, not just the finished film.

    Best decision

    We chose Edit Your Wedding for our videography and it was honestly the best decision we made. They responded to every message right away and kept us in the loop throughout the whole process.     We’re absolutely over the moon with our wedding videos! If you want your memories to last forever without paying an extortionate fee for a professional videographer, this is a fantastic alternative. Our friends and family had so much fun filming throughout the day, and the final edits were completed to an incredibly high standard.     The best money we spent on our wedding! Having been so disappointed by our wedding photos from a professional photographer we were over joyed to get the video highlights reel made by the edityourwedding team. They edited all the footage together so well, and the transitions with footage and music were perfect. The more you footage your friends and family can get, the better your film will be!     We are soooo pleased with our videos. The process was seamless, cameras arrived on time and ready to go. Very easy to use. I sent them back a couple of days after our wedding and the videos were ready within 3 weeks. You order your package online. Three days before the wedding, 2–4 stabilised 4K cameras arrive along with simple tips for your guests. Hand them out on the day so your friends and family can film everything: from the morning prep through to the dancing.Once you've recovered, post the kit back. We'll edit your wedding film, set to music you choose, and while you wait, we'll offer to make you a free Instagram reel too. You'll also get a download link with all the original footage — every clip your guests captured, yours to keep.
We use the DJI Pocket 3 cameras - small handheld cameras with a built-in gimbal, which keeps footage smooth and stable even when guests are moving or dancing. They shoot in 4K, so your videos look beautiful on a TV or laptop, and they perform well in low light too. Operation couldn't be simpler: switch on, press record. There are no settings to fiddle with and nothing to get wrong, which is why they work so well in the hands of guests who've never picked up a video camera before.
A videographer's price mostly reflects the shoot day — a full day on-site, often with a second shooter, then days of editing. We skip the shoot day because your guests are already there, capturing moments no outside videographer could ever reach. So yes, we're much cheaper — but more importantly, the film you get is different, and we think better. More personal, more intimate, made by the people who actually know you.
It varies, and that's the point. We edit to the natural rhythm of your day rather than padding to a minimum or cutting to a limit - a relaxed elopement might be shorter, a big day with lots of cameras longer. Most films land around 8–12 minutes, occasionally up to 20 minutes, we use 2-3 songs. Every one is professionally edited and set to music you choose, paced like a proper film rather than a long playout. And you keep all the original footage, so the full moments are always yours.
It depends on the size and shape of your day. As a rough guide:2 cameras — small or single-venue weddings, intimate gatherings (under 60 guests)3 cameras — most weddings; ideal for capturing prep, ceremony, and reception with multiple angles4 cameras — larger weddings, or if you'd like a guest filming each main moment simultaneouslyIf you're unsure, drop us a quick message with your guest count and venue setup and we'll recommend the right package for your day.
Once your wedding film is in progress, we'll email you asking if you want the reel (it's a small section of your film) and ask for your Instagram handle and your suppliers (venue, florist, photographer, anyone you'd like tagged). We post it to our Instagram and add you as a collaborator, so it appears on your account too with all your suppliers tagged. It's part of your package but totally optional.
One week, included in every package. The hire starts the day before your wedding (or departure date for destination) and the cameras arrive with you ahead of that, so there's time to charge them up and have a play before the day.You post everything back once the wedding is over. We'll email you the return date, so it's not something you need to remember on your honeymoon.If a week isn't enough, you can add more when you order.
Yes, you can take the cameras with you. Just select "Destination" before you add to cart. The cameras arrive a few days before your departure date. The standard rental period is for 1 week (which starts the day before the departure), so if you will be away for longer than that you can select additional rental time on the product page.
