Golden Take Films was built on one belief: your wedding deserves more than a generic wedding video. Jake Mantel has spent nearly two decades making films for a living, from national media and commercial campaigns to branded content and cinematic storytelling. He brings that same eye to every wedding: intention in every camera choice, every lighting decision, every cut. Most videographers show up with a shot list. We show up with a vision.

We're there for the moments that matter most, so the quiet ones get the same attention as the big ones. And every film is edited personally by Jake, the same filmmaker who shot your day. Nothing gets handed off to a team you've never met. Based in McKinney and filming across Dallas-Fort Worth.

    Wedding Photos!

    Golden Take Films is truly a fitting name! Jake was one of our photo video guys for our wedding and he did a phenomenal job! He has such a creative eye and will do anything to get the shot. He had amazing ideas for the getting ready pictures, as well as the photos with the bridal party. It was such an ease of mind for us! Once you know your wedding date, we recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service, so our calendar typically fills up months in advance.
Every film is edited in-house by our team, typically the same filmmaker who shot your day. Nothing is outsourced.
Yes. We offer a same-day teaser, a 60 to 90 second edit delivered the night of or the next morning, as a $350 add-on. Full films are delivered within four weeks, with two-week and 72-hour rush options available. Premium Plus includes two-week delivery.
We film rain or shine. If weather moves your ceremony indoors or under cover, we adapt with you. Drone footage is the one thing weather can limit, since we only fly when conditions are safe and the venue permits it.
No, we’ll send a private link to share your final wedding video with you. Only people with that link will be able to see your video.
Two operators covers almost every wedding. For very large or multi-location days, we'll talk through whether a third makes sense.
Raw and unedited footage isn't included in any package. It's available as a $1500 add-on and should be requested before your wedding date.
Every film includes two rounds of revisions. A round is one consolidated set of notes, so gather everything before sending. Requests should come within 14 days of delivery.
A 50% non-refundable retainer holds your date. The balance is charged automatically to your card on file three days before the wedding.
