We care about beautiful images, but we care just as much about clear vows, real laughter, and the small in-between moments that make a wedding feel alive. We stay calm and present on the day, capturing it as it actually unfolds rather than staging it for the camera — and we cover your full day, as many hours as it takes, never billed by the hour.

Everything we make is horizontal, film-first, and built to last — designed to be watched on a real screen and returned to for years, not scrolled past once. For the pieces you'll want to share, we also craft vertical Moments, finished with the same care as the film itself.

    Stunning, Meaningful Video You Will Treasure

    I cannot recommend Lighthouse Video Productions highly enough for stunning, top-quality video that showcases the heart and soul of your wedding day. When my husband and I watched ours, we were in awe. Ryan created a wedding video that brought not only us to tears, but also our family, friends, and those who weren’t able to travel to the wedding. The video is absolutely beautiful and Ryan included amazing, lively shots of the happy couple, the most important moments in the ceremony, and our families and friends. We will treasure this video for the rest of our lives. Ryan is so kind and pleasant to work with. He’s incredibly professional and on top of things, and puts a lot of thought into his work. He encourages you to discuss and share your vision ahead of time - and, if you were like my husband and me, and didn’t have too much of a specific vision, he knows what to do! Our wedding had an additional factor in that for medical reasons, my sister and brother-in-law would not be able to attend. We updated Ryan only a month or so before the wedding and he quickly worked with us to plan a livestream for both the ceremony and the reception. It was clear (and meant so much) that he took including my family very seriously. After shooting some video of the bridesmaids and me getting ready, Ryan made sure to head over to the ceremony early to get the livestream set up with his colleague. My sister and brother-in-law were amazed by the quality of the stream, and were able to see all of the ceremony and all of the important moments in the reception. Ryan also worked with my sister and our DJ to play a recording of her maid of honor toast. Knowing my sister and brother-in-law could see, and I could wave to them, it felt like they were at the wedding. That was the greatest gift. We ordered not only the wedding video but also the full ceremony and key reception moments. We have not yet watched those, because we are (trying) to save them for our first anniversary, but I have no doubt they have the same quality and heart as the incredible wedding video.     Professional, friendly, and flexible!

    Ryan listened well and helped us craft a vision for a simple wedding video that met everything we wanted to preserve our big day! We've seen the extent of his technical skills. This time, I got to see him make even simple look polished. Hed was friendly and discreet as he filmed. The experience was lovely from beginning to end!

    Top Notch Videographer!

    Ryan was the best! I had no idea how I’d feel with a videographer around but he was awesome! We never intended to get a videographer, but there were a few things that meant a lot to me that I wanted to see. Ryan made sure those were there and the highlight. If you’re looking for someone creative & reliable to document your day, I recommend Lighthouse Video Productions

    Don't skip on video!

    We weren't sure about investing in a video service and I'm so glad we did! While our photos are amazing, there is something extra special about seeing the day in all of its beautiful moments captured live. Ryan was easy to work with, kind, professional and did an amazing job with our video. Would highly recommend!

    Excellent Experience

    We hired Ryan for our August 2024 wedding and he was fantastic to work with. We really wanted our wedding film to represent us as a couple, and so the music was incredibly important to us. Ryan gave us access to a database of options and when we made our choice, he even helped us use the song's original sample, too! The result was unique and special and reflective of our style. He was kind, flexible, organized, fair, and professional. We really appreciated how open and collaborative he was. Lighthouse Video Productions is fully insured for videography and photography with both professional and general liability insurance.
We can certainly add venues to our list of "additional insureds" on our policy or provide proof of insurance upon request. We collect details from you so that we can do this as soon as we have a signed contract. If you wish to see the proof of insurance yourself before you sign a contract with us, we can do that as well.
I assure you, we are a very real company and we take what we do very seriously. While we are happy to design videos to work well on social, we typically steer clear of getting too deep into social media use ourselves. This is more of a personal, ethical, and health choice. Outside of having a Facebook page so we can interact with other professionals on several Facebook-based networking groups, and a YouTube page if you count that as social media, we don't have any social media presence at all.
Ryan, the owner, edits all of our videos, and we have three day-of videographers including Ryan. Stylistically, we are able to get a very similar vibe from all three videographers, but having a team of three also ensures that we can fulfill our end of the contract we sign with you even when things like illness or other last minute things happen.
We are able to film outdoors in light rain by using an umbrella - though we are limited to stationary shots on a tripod when this is the case. We don't shoot outdoors when there is thunder or lightning for safety reasons.
We have access to multiple libraries containing tens of thousands of songs that are legal to use, and if you give us a genre or even a feeling to work off of, we can make sure to use that to find music you will love in your film. There is also a music licensing service called "Lick'd" (unfortunate name, I know) that you can look up on Google that has some top 40 songs available that could work in a wedding film. Send us a spotify playlist and we'll create a list of similar-genre royalty free songs, or you can browse the royalty free libraries yourself and pick specific songs for us to use - you can be as hands on or hands off as you want.
