About Wavu Media
Darren Wynn
I've been filming weddings for 7 years, but I've been part of the wedding world for much longer. I spent 13 years as a wedding DJ, and filming my own events is what led me into videography full time. My love for film, TV, and music videos drives everything I do. Weddings are my favorite thing to shoot because the emotion is real and everyone is genuinely happy. Before the big day, I sit down with you, hear your vision, and talk through music. I want your wedding film to feel like a cinematic music video, one where you and the people you love are the stars.
Spending 13 years as a wedding DJ gives me a perspective most videographers don't have. I know how a wedding day flows, I know how to read the room, and I make sure nothing important gets missed. Music isn't just background in my videos, it drives the whole story. I also work in other areas of professional video production and bring those skills to every wedding I film. I also offer a pre-wedding interview add-on where I film you and your partner talking about your relationship, and weave it into your final film.

Wavu Media was Wonderful!
Darren was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He responded to my initial request right away and was incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and immediately understood my vision for the video. To me, video is one of the best ways to truly capture a day like this—sometimes even more so than photos—and Darren did it beautifully. He took the time to document all of my requests and made sure the final product reflected exactly what I had envisioned. The finished video was gorgeous, and the film quality was fantastic. He was punctual, professional, and somehow managed to capture all of the important moments without our guests even realizing there was a videographer there—which is part of the magic of what he does. Nothing felt staged or intrusive; he simply captured the day as it happened. I would absolutely recommend Darren to anyone looking for a beautiful, high-quality video that lets you relive one of the best days of your life for years to come.
