“There are not enough words to explain how amazing Mandi is!!!! You need to RUN and book her immediately!! From the first phone call and throughout the entire wedding planning process, she was so responsive, organized, and above and beyond helpful. Her pictures truly speak for themselves and I can’t even tell you how many strangers have reached out to tell me how beautiful the pictures are!! She also got them back to me in absolutely record time. On wedding day, I didn’t have a wedding planner, and she helped me put together a timeline and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She was soooo much fun to work with, was so laid back (while still being assertive and corralling our wedding party/family for pictures) and made sure everything was low-stress. Most people complain about their wedding portraits and how long it takes, but one of our favorite parts of the day was taking our portraits with Mandi and her second shooter (who was also so fun and fantastic). “If you're on the fence about your wedding DJ, stop looking and book Jacob from District Remix. From the first time we met Jacob, we knew we were on the same wavelength. He immediately understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music. Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed. Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work. Looking back on our wedding, hiring Jacob was hands down the best money we spent on any of our vendors.
