I started my music education at 8 years old, starting with private piano lessons that spanned 12 years.. leading to a BA in Vocal Performance from Wayne State University, and study abroad in Rome, Italy. I’ve performed as a Soprano soloist/section leader for numerous churches throughout Metro Detroit, and have had the honor of singing with many great bands. With over 20 years of experience freelancing for 4 studios and 3 newspapers, I decided to branch out on my own. I opened Lasting Touch Photography after the birth of my twin boys. I started photographing weddings in 2003 and eventually left my day job as a designer to do photography full-time, but I’ve never been able to turn the designer off.
