I've had the privilege of photographing love and connection for the past six years, and I still smile when I tell people that this is my job—because it’s never felt like one. Being invited into such intimate and vulnerable moments is something I don't take lightly. I’m not just here to take pretty photos; any photographer can do that. I want to create an experience that genuinely reflects your love story and helps you remember what it felt like to love deeply in this moment, right now.

The Chuckanut Bay Distillery is a vast and impressive building, featuring an industrial meets historic vibe. The 4,200 square foot Ballroom has capacity to accommodate up to 300 guests cocktail style, 240 reception only, and 160 for ceremony and reception. With an open floor plan that is bathed in natural light from a wall of windows, this enchanting space is reminiscent of ballrooms of a bygone era, with hints of our distinct Chuckanut Bay Distillery aesthetic. With a fully-equipped catering kitchen and expansive bar, this grand event space is the perfect venue for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and galas of all kinds. In addition to the Ballroom, there venue offers several other spaces for couples to utilize, including a private get-ready suite and a rooftop bar. The facility provides tables, chairs, flatware, glassware, and more. Additionally, their selection of libations and alcoholic beverages is unmatched, with offerings from their own distillery as great options.

Although I call Bellingham and the Pacific Northwest home now, I grew up on my family's farm in Michigan's rural Upper Peninsula, also known as 'the U.P.' At heart, I'm still and always will be a die-hard 'Yooper.' My dad, Chip, who is one of my biggest heroes, taught me how to grow, forage for, and arrange flowers around our farm while I was growing up. We used to make things together and sell them at the local farmers market on the weekends. So in some ways, I've been doing this work all my life. I started working in the floral industry in Bellingham before branching out on my own as Pozie by Natalie in 2015.

Over the last 10 years I’ve been pursuing filmmaking. From commercial shoots with Amazon, to the orphanages of Haiti, I’ve seen and done a lot with my career…but the moments that stuck with me were always the ones that had purpose behind what we were capturing. Weddings quickly went from being an occasional gig to the most precious gift I could provide an entire family! Through intentional filmmaking we are able to capture the sights & sounds of those closest to you on your wedding day, and that fills our cups!

I've performed for audiences of hundreds, won Favorite Competitor in the Lindy Hop Championships of Western Canada, and taught workshops both in Bellingham and abroad. I'm also a certified counselor actively working with couples (see my website below), and I bring my training to my lessons with you, treating you with dignity, respect, and understanding for the learning process.
