“Westmount Country Club exceeded any and all expectations! I knew our wedding was going to be amazing, but Westmount somehow managed to blow even my highest expectations out of the water. If you are dreaming of a big New Jersey wedding that your guests will never forget, there is truly no place like Westmount! We had our wedding in the Grand Ballroom in September of 2026, and it was absolutely breathtaking. But what truly sets Westmount apart is the cocktail hour. Between the indoor and outdoor spaces, the incredible variety of food, and the abundance of seating with tables and lounge couches, there is room for everyone to comfortably move around, socialize, and enjoy themselves. It is truly a New Jersey wedding dream! And the food? Every single item was somehow better than the last. Our guests are still talking about it! Another detail I absolutely loved was the signature martini menu! You rarely see drink menus at weddings, and I thought this was such a fun touch. If guests aren't sure what to order, they can browse the menu for inspiration and choose from a selection of delicious signature drinks. And let me tell you, the drinks are just as good as they sound! Anwar, our banquet manager, was incredible from start to finish. He helped us bring our vision to life, was so generous with everything he provided, and answered every question I had throughout the planning process. No matter how many texts or calls I sent, he was always there to help. I felt supported every step of the way and knew we were in the best hands. Karen, our maître d’, provided the most exceptional service throughout the entire night. Everything ran so smoothly, and she was constantly checking in to make sure we were okay. She made sure both we and our parents had time to eat and enjoy ourselves instead of getting swept away in the excitement of the evening. Those little details mean everything on your wedding day, and her care did not go unnoticed. And then there was the Viennese hour! It was an entire SHOW, complete with baked Alaska taking center stage on the dance floor. One of my favorite details was that they brought all of the desserts right into the ballroom so our guests could enjoy them without ever having to leave the dance floor. Our dance floor was packed all night long, and the energy never stopped until the lights came on! We were even able to bring Chick-fil-A in at the end of the reception for our guests, and the Westmount team set up a beautiful table with warming lights to display everything. They went above and beyond to make even that little detail feel special! Westmount doesn't just provide a beautiful venue; they create an unforgettable experience for the couple and every single guest. And my guests will be talking about this experience for a long time to come! From the breathtaking ballroom and unbelievable cocktail hour to the food, drinks, and exceptional service from Anwar and Karen, every detail was handled with so much thought and professionalism. We felt taken care of from beginning to end, and our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and so much more. I am already praying I get invited to another wedding at Westmount soon because I want to experience it all over again as a guest! I truly could not recommend Westmount Country Club more highly. If you have the opportunity to get married here, do it. You will not regret it!”

“We absolutely loved our wedding venue! Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the space, and everything about the venue itself was perfect for our big day. The staff was generally great, and the venue itself exceeded our expectations. However, there were a couple of things that caught us off guard. First, when we went to drop off our decorations the day before the wedding, we were surprised to find large, dramatic Christmas decorations still in the foyer—something we were never informed would be there. Thankfully, the team worked with us to remove them, and by the morning of the wedding, everything was taken care of, which we really appreciated. Second, we were disappointed to find that the venue ran out of rum for our signature drink. We had clearly communicated that rum was a major ingredient, yet they only had two bottles for the entire night, which was nowhere near enough. It seemed like they completely forgot that rum was a key part of our signature cocktail, and it was frustrating to see our guests unable to enjoy it as planned. Lastly, after the wedding, we heard some concerning stories about the way the venue manager and team interacted with our vendors, particularly our wedding planner. Apparently, voices were raised, and things got very heated, with fingers being pointed at faces. It was heartbreaking to hear this, especially because it was completely at odds with the otherwise wonderful experience we had. It felt very unprofessional and left a bad taste in my mouth. Overall, the venue itself was stunning, and the event went off beautifully, but these issues were frustrating and disappointing, especially when considering how much we loved everything else. If you decide to book here, just make sure to keep a close eye on the details and be aware of how the team handles interactions with vendors.”

The space is so versatile and beautiful—we used both the indoor area and the outdoor space, which made it easy for guests to mingle, take photos, and relax without feeling crowded. The staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly organized, making the whole event feel effortless. The food was a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented—and the bar team also did a great job with drinks and mocktail options for guests who preferred non-alcoholic choices. Getting there was easy for everyone: the 9th St Light Rail stop is right outside the building, and there’s a large nearby parking garage with validated parking available. “My husband and I chose the Envue Hotel to be our all-in-one wedding venue and hotel room block. We actually signed our contract two years ago when a different management team was in place. After signing the contract, a new management team came in, and we could not have been more amazed with the level of service. It truly was a blessing in disguise. Chris and his team are truly one of a kind. From day one, Chris jumped in and truly became a partner in our wedding planning process. He was not only great at communicating, but also open to collaborating to make it the day of our dreams. I feel like so many venues we visited put numerous restrictions in place, but Chris listened to all of our ideas and was open to executing on our vision. He advice and guidance was so reassuring throughout the entire process. The venue itself is STUNNING. I can’t even express how many compliments I received from our guests. “This is the most beautiful venue I’ve ever been to” and “This is the best cocktail hour I’ve attended” was uttered all throughout the night. The fact that guests could dance at the reception, and then step outside on the balcony made it such an incredible reception space. Everyone loved it! Edwin was our Maître D. He was so friendly and detail oriented. I didn’t notice a single thing that didn’t go the way I wanted it to, and I know it was because Edwin was running a tight ship behind the scenes. The food was incredible and the bartenders were so friendly. Ali handled our room block, and I was also so pleased with the level of communication. Ali was responsive and accommodative of our requests. I didn’t hear a single complaint about the check in process, and the rooms were updated, clean, and beautiful. The Skyline Suite is also perfect for those “getting ready photos” the morning of J All in all, I think the Envue is a hidden gem of a wedding venue! With the ferry right in front of the venue, you can have all the perks of NYC while avoiding the craziness. Thank you, Envue and Team!”

“Our wedding on May 1, 2026 was truly the best day of our lives, and the entire Hudson House team exceeded every expectation we had. We had a bit of a rocky start during the initial booking process, but once Elena, the General Manager, stepped in and connected us with Gabriel, the Director, everything became seamless. From that point forward, we felt completely taken care of. The food tasting alone was an experience unlike anything we've ever seen. It was an incredible feast and gave us a firsthand look at how Hudson House executes events and the level of service they provide. The food was absolutely outstanding, and our guests are still talking about it weeks later. One of the things that made our wedding feel extra special was having the second-floor room available for cocktail hour instead of the overlook above the reception space. While both spaces are beautiful, having a completely separate floor created such an incredible guest experience. Many guests thought the cocktail hour space was the reception itself, only to be amazed when they discovered there was another floor for dinner and dancing, followed by the Stork Club for the after-party. Everyone loved the progression of the evening and how each part of the celebration had its own unique space. The cocktail hour was truly next level. We received countless compliments about the amount of food and the variety of stations. Guests repeatedly told us they had never seen so many options at a wedding. One detail that made a huge impact was having our signature his-and-hers drinks already waiting for guests as they entered cocktail hour. People loved being able to grab a drink immediately instead of standing in line at the bar, and it was one of the most complimented touches of the night. What impressed us most, though, was the service. Every single staff member was warm, friendly, attentive, and accommodating. If a guest needed something, it was handled immediately. The professionalism and hospitality were truly exceptional. A special thank you goes to Maya, my bridal attendant, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was by my side all day, constantly making sure I had water, checking on me, helping me stay hydrated, and ensuring I had everything I needed. She even helped clean the dirt off the train of my dress after photos. Maya was calm, thoughtful, diligent, and genuinely cared about making my day perfect. Before we left, she made sure all of our belongings were packed and organized, and she carefully packed up the food and cake I requested to take home since I knew I probably wouldn't get a chance to eat much during the wedding. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy so many of the amazing dishes once we got back to our hotel. Gabriel was equally incredible throughout the night. Anytime I noticed something that needed attention, no matter how small, he addressed it immediately. Knowing he was there overseeing everything allowed us to relax and fully enjoy our wedding day. Hudson House delivered beyond our wildest dreams. The venue is stunning, the food is phenomenal, the service is unmatched, and the entire team genuinely cares about creating an unforgettable experience. Everything ran so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. The only downside is that the day goes by way too fast. We honestly wish we could do it all over again. We cannot recommend Hudson House enough.”
